This game is awesome! My husband and I like to fish, and when it's late or bad weather, we get our fix playing this lol

Ever since various video games, like "Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess", introduced fishing in-game mini-games, I found them fun and often wished there were games devoted to fishing. I finally decided to take the plunge and try some of the ones which have appeared on the scene in the past decade or so. "Fishing Sim World" was my first try. The graphics are really nice, but that's about the best I can say for the game. While I love the attempt to incorporate many of the aspects of real-world fishing into the game, I found the controls to be overly complex and too difficult to manage properly even after trying a few changes in button assignments. I also found the music to be too loud. I don't associate hard rock with fishing and it reminded me more of a NASCAR ralley.What I had actually been looking for was something akin to the fishing mini-game in "Final Fantasy XV" which I love to play. I would love to see a fishing game like that where the emphasis was on how many species you can find. You should also have the option of keeping fish for eating or selling to a market as a way to make money for newer gear.Again, I found this game to be beautifully designed, but too complex and loud for my taste.

the prosthe underwater camera, the fish movements and mannerisms, the graphics of the lakes, etc = GREAT.the cons..NO movement of the lures!? really?nothing moves..also the tournaments for the pro level are ridiculous, sometime you are 10 lbs behind before you can get to your "spot" and cast out a lure, which sorta forces you to just fish the dock area so as to not start at a deficit.sadly, out of ALL the ps4 fishing games, this one is the best, but its not that great.that being said it is still very enjoyable to play even with all its downfalls.if they added movement to the lures, more variety of lures without the microtransactions, allowing you to have tournaments in every lake would be cool too..the other bass pro shops ps4 fishing game coulda been great too...and they would corner the market if they JUST changed a couple things

First time playing a fishing game, fun enough. Seems like it may be to easy for an advanced user.
