As the original cork had eroded, for years, sans any luck I'd been trying to locate a replacement "stopper" for my late 70's Cuervo 1800 decanter, which I'd repurposed back then for my homemade chili pepper sauce. Just when I was contemplating giving up, the idea popped into my head to see if there was any such thing as "cork tape". I searched on Amazon and immediately discovered that there absolutely WAS such a thing! I purchased it, cut a long guesstimated strip according to the stopper's circumference, tightly wrapped it around, and just repeated that step a couple more times until the thickness was just right for the stopper to fit snugly into the decanter, and Eureka! I popped in the last of my homegrown chilis, added some white wine vinegar, and VOILA, or as we say in my culture, "Now we're cookin' with gas!" I am over-the-moon satisfied with my purchase♡

I had to “impact” all my doors due to lead paint. This is nice and thin, others I tried made it so I couldn’t close my doors or made them hard to open but this cork tape is inexpensive and goes a long way for my particular circumstances. The state passed all doors and were also felt by his was an acceptable product.

It worked great on rulers to keep them from sliding. Only drawback is having to cut it to one inch, but it was super easy to do. Now, will I find another use for the remaining 4yds + 2 ft.? If I gave it away, then I would probably find out. It's a keeper, but I need a second junk drawer.

Anyone who has tried to use a pushpin with a sheet of Styrofoam insulation will know why I purchased this product (Styrofoam is not kind to pushpins, they fall right out). This product does the job. It is well made, has clean sharp edges, uniform height, and (this is important) the adhesive backing works well on rough surfaces – such as Styrofoam…

I like that is in a form of duck tape but is too thin and pins don’t hold to it. This may be just for decoration purposes

Back sticky area is extreemly sticky. Very easy to cut and apply. Great value for the price.

A really handy product which possibly has a lot of uses limited by the imagination. I didn't even know it existed but found it looking for sheets of cork. I wanted cork for the inside of a door I have in my office which is near the computer desk and open when I am working. I was looking for some way to attach cork to the door so I could pin things on. Of course this is a bit thin for pins as it comes of the roll but I found that by layering it was very effective. The tape cuts well and the adhesive contacts well with surfaces. Job done and so cheaply but it looks smart.

For those who were complaining about this product not sticking, you have to prep the metal surface with rubbing alcohol first, wipe completely, then stick on the cork tape. Worked well for me, so much so that I tried to peel it off and couldn't! Definitely recommend!
