I twisted my knee just before a vacation that required lots of walking. This folding cane was excellent at the airport and the hotel, in cabs and Ubers and over miles of pavement.I give the cane five stars for stability. I put it to the test on wet streets, countless fights of stairs and plenty of carpet.At first I had to get help with folding the cane, but either it loosened up or I got better at it—now I can manage it every time. On buses and trains. It folded and fit perfectly in my bag.Stability and sturdiness are similar attributes to me, so SwitchSticks earns another five stars for sturdiness. I never felt unsafe using this cane.In addition to its classy look and light weight, I appreciated the button adjustment in the top section, so the cane could be set at the perfect height for me.I love my Switch Sticks Walking Cane.

I got the switch stick cane for my wife as she was having some trouble with her balance. We were getting ready to goon a trip and she needed something to help out. The switch stick cane worked great and was easy to fold up and carryin her purse when she was not using it. The cane seems sturdy and well made and was very easy to fold and unfold.Its a good product at a good price.

Great to have a folded cane with me whenever I am out. Great looking. 4 stars because the Velcro strap is too clumsy. Instead, I use a stretchable wristband (in a matching color) -- works like a charm.

I use canes on a regular basis. I was looking for something more appropriate to go with my work attire. I bought three of these in different colors and patterns and loved everyone of them. In my opinion, they look nicer than other more expensive canes. I would buy these again.

Like most people that use canes, I have a variety for different occassions. My past favorite had a metal grip which seemed like a good idea at the time, but it was always falling down. No matter how I tried to prop it up, it was always falling because it was way too top heavy. The handle on this is very durable but a lot lighter. If I decide to sit down somewhere, I can easily fold it up and not worry at all about it falling over. As one other person said, I would never put the end of my cane into my purse. Too many germs! The fact that this comes with a case solves that problem. The colors were true to what they looked like on the site and I'm very pleased with it.

These walking stick are not only good looking, but sturdy too. And they are priced right. My wife has several to go with different outfits and always get complimented on how nice they are. We rarely fold them, but they do fold down easily if you need to. This is a great product.

These Switch Stick canes are the best with patterns suitable for different ages, especially compared to the default ones you would usually see at stores. The issue I would like to see resolved is regarding quality when shipping. The first one I ordered came in a plastic snap bag with a durable plastic holder for the cane when folded but no bag. When that one became older and damaged from use, I ordered another. The second came in the plastic box from item photos, a velcro strap and a bag. If these canes can come in the plastic boxes with the black, plastic holder and the waterproof bag, that will be much better. The handles seem to chip eventually, so I am looking into ways to protect it somehow, but since the rest is great quality, I would continue to recommend these canes.Would recommend purchasing the All Terrain Cane Tips to replace the standard rubber one this comes with, especially if you will be out and about in raining weather.

My wife who runs out of breath easily, require a walking stick that folds. We travel a lot, and we need someting that fits in our suitcases. So i browsed on Amazon.com just a couple of weeks before we left on our tour of Lapland, the Arctic and the weastern coast of Norway. We ordered it. It arrived on time; and my wife used quite often. It was very handy, and my wife loved it.
