nice addition to grain pantry, good chew, flavor, nutrition
My review is for the grain. I use it as one would in any application a grain is used. Nice to have an assortment on hand for various tastes, textures, nutrition. I have not tried it popped, as I got this for cooking and adding to stews, soups, and other hot dishes. It has a good flavor at room temp too. I like Anthony's products a lot, and this does not disappoint.I normally dont eat popcorn, but maybe I will give this a try. If I do, I will report back my experience.

I love this lectin free grain
I made a delicious Sorghum and chickpeas dish from a recipe from Gundry’s Plant Paradox Cookbook ( it’s in his first cookbook, with the cauliflower pizza on the cover). Easy to make, I cooked the sorghum for an hour in my enameled pot, ( 3 parts water to 1 part sorghum in the enamel pot) but you can also use an Instapot. The recipe has olive oil, red onion, celery, cilantro, parsley, lime zest & the juice of several limes, & the Eden brand beans which are pressure cooked, as Gundry recommends. It’s so good & you can travel with it and enjoy it at room temperature, it’s so nice to have such a healthy and flavorful dish that travels well.

Gluten free
This is a good flour to use for gluten free breads. I feel as tho it's worth the price. Will continue to re order

Not sure what to do with it
Unfortunately I’m not sure what to do with it. Initially I bought it to replace quinoa because quinoa has lots of lectins which I am trying to avoid. I have tried to pop it which did work. Then I tried to make cereal out of it. I think I’m going to give it away because I’m not quite sure what to do with it. But it taste good and fresh. One last try I will put it in my vegetable beef soup. Wish me luck!

Good quality and freshness
I bake GF goods often and this is one of my favorite brands. They consistently have good quality and freshness in their flours.I use sorghum for GF baking and this one is fine milled and fresh. I recommend it.

Popped sorghum
I got this as a substitute for rice. However, popping like popcorn on the stove has become my new favorite snack. It's better than popcorn. We have had several people try it and they love it. My brother tried it and he is hooked.

Tried It but Don't Like It
I love Anthony's brand and have tried many many of their products and have been happy with them. This was my first time trying sorghum though and I've decided it's not really for me. It had a very different taste than I am used to in grains. It is gluten-free which is a plus for some people and I know a lot of people love it. I'm sure this appeals to others, just not to me. Now I know!
