After wearing this for a few hours, the dead skin on my lips was softened enough to remove! Personally, thats how I know I've found a good lip balm. The ingredients for these are clean! No allergens, or petroleum based ingredients! WIN! And this has natural SPF? & it didn't leave a whitecast on my lips. No off-putting flavor when you accidentally taste it. I love it, will repurchase forever granted they don't change the formula. The only potential critique from my perspective is that the mango scent doesnt actually smell like mangos, the fragrance is really light and subtly tropical but that may be a plus depending on the person. Overall great, can't recommend enough.

I've tried a bunch of SPF lip balms, both mineral and chemical, and this is definitely my favorite. Goes on smoothly, hydrates rather than dries out my lips, and protects from sunburn. Very mild smell/flavor (no 'sunscreen' taste). Oh, and doesn't turn my lips white! Will be the only kind I buy from now on. If Headhunter could make a version in a squeeze tube (with screw-on cap) so I can leave it in the hot car (in FL) without it melting into a mess, that would make for the perfect SPF lip balm...hint hint! (*Note: I haven't actually left this one in the hot car to melt, having finally learned from extensive personal experience, but am assuming it would.*)

Purchased for entire family when we went on vacation to Florida. We knew we would be in the hot Florida sun for 2+ weeks and needed good protection. I saw the reviews and do not regret it at all. Head hunter is a sheer lip protectant that is extremely hydrating! As someone who lives in a desert climate this is a lifesaver! Does leave a little bit of sheen as you can see in picture above. On my boys I rubbed product in a little bit to lesson sheen and just leaves lips looking moisturized. I will continue to buy this from now on. Fantastic!

Excellent sun screen for lips. A little bit too soft but super smooth and delightful to use. No bitter nasty taste like many of the others I’ve tried.

I am so glad that I found sun protection for my lips! I swim outdoors daily and I am very cautious to protect my skin from the sun, but had never used lip sunscreen before I found this on Amazon. Goes on easy. It has no taste or smell to me. So easy and convenient to use. Highly recommended if you are serious about protecting ALL of your skin from harmful sun damage. I will absolutely continue to buy this from Amazon.

These are great. All natural, waterproof, great flavor. But you can't have one in your bag at the beach or pool because it will melt. I'm guessing because of the coconut oil. So if you don't need to keep it on you in 75+ degree weather, it's great. But not for my needs at the pool/on vacation.

Goes on clear. Didn’t irritate my existing blister caused by the sun. Can’t detect any mango flavor or taste but that wasn’t the important factor in this purchase for me. On the plus side, it doesn’t have any bitter sunscreen taste. I have not left this in my hot car. Description states it will not melt. I might try it when the tube is almost empty to see if that is true. This is a reasonably priced mineral sunscreen protection for the lips without any negatives of mineral sunscreen. This is made and the USA and isn’t tested on animals. Would recommend and will buy this product again.
