great airplane toy
I bought this to keep my one-year-old entertained on the airplane. It is a fascinating toy and yet totally quiet, which is a hard-to-find combo! The buckles are all high quality yet the toy is lightweight enough that I'm not annoyed to have to add it to our carry on. I'm sure he would love it all the time but I want to keep it special for when we travel.

Great to take on trips
We used this on a plane and it’s a great way to keep them engaged. It’s got a lot of “puzzles” for them to fiddle around with and try to figure out how to undo.

Great in the car
This kept my granddaughter busy for a long car ride and then played with it all weekend trying to master that button hole. It’s very well made and durable.

Love the idea, a bit overpriced - a buckle came broken
Love this idea and it still keeps my LO entertained. It was key in keeping her occupied while on the plane from US to Europe - so much better than screen time. One of the buckles came broken / it doesn’t fasten, but we were leaving for a trip the next day so I didn’t bother returning or complaining to the seller. My daughter is only 16mo and can do just a few of the items in the book, but she loves the Velcro, zipper, one of the snap buckles, and the wallet and just loves trying to do the tasks. I like the alphabet abs numbers on the back too. One thing to be aware of is with this, they are practicing how to open things, which you have around the house, that you thought may be OK (like a zippered handbag) and then you see them going to unzip or unbuckle your bag. So just make sure to keep those items up high after giving them this toy!

Worth the Money
This isn’t the most spectacular toy in the world, but it’s exactly what I need. I keep it in the car and when my son is restless or whiny, I unfasten everything and toss it in his lap. He is almost 2 and buckles what he can, plays with the Velcro and zipper a few times, then turns it over and points to the letters or numbers for me to recite to him as he’s not talking just yet. It distracts him just long enough to keep me sane in the car ride home.

Good for gifting or airplane rides.
Got this for my child's first airplane ride and it was great. Kept it away from him until we were actually on the flight so it was a completely new item for him to check out. There is one little bit on it that he could pull off and choke on, a little button thing attached to the shoe string, but I just took that off and I was okay with him playing with it. He enjoys it now when we are driving. And if he throws it at me it dosent hurt. Lol.

Mental and physical stimulation
This board is keeping my 90 yr old mother with dementia busy. It gives her a challenge in a good way and she's determined to master all of it features. I added another shoelace since that s her favorite; she likes to make knots.

Go for it - for older toddlers.
Edit April 2021: I found my 1 year old had gnawed off one of the 3 buttons. I guess I'm lucky I found it in her mouth before she swallowed or choked on it. Also one of the strings isn't attached to the thing itself, so we removed it. Now it sits in the closet because who knows what may be ripped off next. I would say you want this for a 2 year old or older. It's not sturdy or safe enough for a 1 year old.Original:No complaints. My daughter's just a baby but she loves it and I'm looking forward to using it to help her learn her buttons, zippers, and buckles. It's very cute.
