Works great for senior citizen pool volleyball, at our Arizona resort

This ball is great for water volleyball soft enough so won’t hurt you. Also just great to play with young kids.

We originally bought a foam-based volleyball from Walmart to play in the hotel pool. Neat though it was, it really held water and sprayed everyone each time the ball was played. This Mikasa ball was the one the hotel provided. Perfect! It is less hard than a real volleyball, but firm enough to encourage actual bumps, volleys and spikes - and pretty much any age from 8 years and up could use it. We whacked this thing around for a week and saw no wear and tear. Suffice to say, we're now back home and have bought one for ourselves.

This volleyball has a soft inner covered in a simple stretch fabric with a light foam in between layer. The ball will take on a bit of water if you are dunking it but after a hit or two it gets back to normal feel. The ball has a good weight to it. It’s light enough for finger tip saves but not too light that it floats like a balloon. 10/10 would recommend this and similar products

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Used twice and already starting to fall apart

This volleyball is perfect for the pool! The only reason I took off a star was because there are bubbles that come out of it if we submerge it under water. I am not sure if this is intentional or not (this implies a hole, right?) but the bubbles are coming from the interior of the ball (under the blue fabric stuff) and seems to be holding up fine. I wouldn't play with it on a court, but again - perfect for the pool!

I bought this ball after someone loaned me one. We were in the pool and some kids let us use theirs. I was so impressed with the soft outer cover and the way it bounces against the water. Yes, I recommend it.

My boys enjoy playing with this ball! They play with it in the pool, as a basketball on concrete, and inside the house! They do wear and tear after about a year or so, but still worth it so I bought 3!

We love this ball! It’s so bouncy! My daughter uses it in the pool and out. She uses it with her volleyball rebounder. It gives great bounce. Great for beginner players!

Concept is great, play was great for a hour then stitching started to fall out. Reached out to the manufacturer and they told us they won’t do anything because it wasn’t purchased direct.
