Oval Wardrobe Tube Polished Chrome Closet Rod W/ End Supports. Welded Steel, 1.0mm Thick, Chrome-Plated. An amazing price for such a high quality closet rod! There's a whole lot to love about this complete closet rod kit. Let's start with the rod itself. Its oval profile (very popular in European markets), offers a more streamlined appearance while maintaining an incredible degree of strength. It's made of extruded steel, which means it's completely seamless and smooth all around. It has a highly polished chrome finish, which will keep it looking like new for years to come. We guarantee that you'll be just as happy with the end supports. They're made of cast metal (not stamped steel), and have the same highly polished chrome plating as the rod itself. Installation: First of all, please note that this closet rod is intended to be mounted onto a wood surface. Each end support has 2 rear facing pins which you'll need to drill 2 corresponding holes for. Once that's done, all it takes is a single screw (provided) to hold the rod in place. After the supports are mounted, it's just question of cutting the rod to the desired length, which can be easily done with a hacksaw...Done! Here's what you get: 1 polished chrome 48" long oval rods 2 polished chrome end supports 2 mounting screws

Sturdy and fits just right
I bought this to add a rod to my Closet World structure. The 30" fit my 30" space perfectly. The length of the rod already takes the thinkness of the end pieces into account, so that the rod can be placed and removed easily. Very easy to install, sturdy rod.

Perfect! Easy to cut and love the chrome
Reorganizing my closet to fit more. These are easy to cut down. I put painters tape over the area to cut to help not scratch area I was keeping. Remember to clean with soft cloth and mild cleaner after putting up to get rid of finger prints before adding your hangers. I am reviewing after using a few months, no scratches, and have held up perfectly. **Be accurate in your measuring/cutting. If you cut too short it will be less sturdy. You want a very tight fit. If I remember correctly I received 5 rods and 10 holders. I was using in those white wood/pdf with predrilled holes closet systems.

Just like a professionally done closet!
These rods are high quality. If you want your closet to look professionally made, use them. You will need the ready made wood panels with holes drilled along the sides. They are easily found at big box hardware stores. Snap in the cleat, put on the rod, and you are finished. The rods can be sawed to your specifications.

A perfect fit
I purchased a home with an existing 1990s Closet Factory system. The set up did not really work for me. I really wanted to add an extra clothing rail to hang things (versus a lot of shelves which I already had.) It looked simple enough to reconfigure everything, but it’s really hard to find the correct type of clothing rail that will easily fit in the system. I was so happy to find this item. It did fit in perfectly! I will probably be ordering more as I decide what to do with the rest of the closet. Thank you.

Bar fine, brackets, so so
The rod is sturdy enough and cuts fine with a hacksaw. I do take issue with the brackets. On the back of the brackets are two nubs sticking out. I assume they are there to help carry the load while the screw hold the bracket in place, laterally. This means that you have to drill two holes for the nubs to stick into before driving the screw. You had better be damn accurate with you measuring or the nubs wont fit into the holes. If you drill the holes larger to accommodate the install of the nubs, you might as well not have them as they won't be carrying any weight. On top of this, there is no template for the hole.It would be much easier to install them with only one nub and a screw, or two screws. If I was worried about the weight of the clothing, I would not be installing the brackets onto drywall. I would be using wood.Anyways, when I make my next order, I will be looking for a better bracket design.
