Great locking system
It almost holds a 500ml bottle of water.Great lid that keeps the straw clean and a brilliant locking device which means it can't be accidentally opened in your bag.Keeps my water at my ideal temperature and great for hiking with the dog, I just unscrew the lid and pour into the dog bowl so she can have a cool drink too.Doesn't leak and looks great.

Best flask mug.
Forget Yeti and their fancy marketing. This is hands down the best travel mug. Large but small enough diameter to put into a car or bag. Keeps drinks warm for at least 5 hours. No leaks or spills. Great mechanism to get drink, just a push of a button. Lost my first one up a cliff so had to get anyone one.

Nice stylish design but doesn’t stay hot for long
Having previously owned another contigo mug that lasted me 3 years it was a no Brainer to stick to the brand. Being a builder the mug had its fair share of drops but lasted well, kept the drink hot for a few hours until one day the rubber seal of the lid deteriorated and it was time to buy a new one.I loved the design of the new mug, I chose the blue colour. I’ve owned it for 3 months now and it’s pretty good. there are no spills from the lid, I like the the function of pressing the button to open it to take your drink. I find it better for short journeys as the drink cools enough to drink from. Previous mug would be too hot to drink, still after an hour. What’s not to like about the mug is it doesn’t stay hot for long. At 2 hours from making your hot drink it’s lukewarm. A little disappointing considering the price. I like having a brew as you do, having a sip of a hot drink while I work, especially While working outside in the cold, the old mug was brilliant for this.ProsStylish design with no spills. Nice colour range, drink is still hot after an hour, ideal for short journeys, easy to clean the lidConsDrink Doesn’t stay hot long enough, especially for the price you pay

Does what it says on the tin (cup!)
I'd already bought a flip-top lid cup by this brand (it was on offer, so it was worth a punt) which I used for water, and was thoroughly impressed by how long as much ice as can fit inside would last, especially as I keep pouring fizzy water over it. The current record of at least one cube able to chink against the inside of the mug is just shy of 9 hours - gone midnight! During a heatwave! Obviously, this brand has thoroughly impressed me.I have a disability which leaves me only able to sit on my bed for the majority of the day, and I have an annoying habit of dropping my coffee. Obviously, this can be a tad painful, not to mention messy and expensive (dry cleaning... Yeesh). I didn't want to use my water cup, so I looked up different styles of "small-t thermos" mugs by this brand. Saw that this one not only has a leakproof lid like the other, but it shuts if you're not holding it open. It's not cheap, but after being so pleased with the first mug, I got it.Yes, my shaky hand has tested it, and yes, it's perfect! What's also great about this brand is that unlike a typical flask, it's metal inside, not glass, which is even better for such a klutz like me.I had to go out the other day in the morning (still during the heatwave) and wasn't sure if I'd want my water or a strong coffee as I was going to be waiting for someone for over an hour. Packed both in my bag right next to each other (drank from both in the end), and got home with some cold water & hot coffee still totally inside their own cups, not as much as a drip from either in my bag - a "sling over your shoulder" type bag, so I wasn't being careful - and no "temperature sharing" between them as I've had from the cheap, plastic (though very functional to be fair) lidded mugs I've had for years. The only thing you need to be aware of is there will probably be a couple of ml of liquid sitting on top of the "lock" which covers the hole you drink out of. A quick sip after shutting the lid sorts it out.I know that this isn't a cheap option, but it's the cheap options which have let me down in the past. Given how often I needed to replace them because the "hatch" which slides to cover the hole loses its ability to make a good seal, this is turning out to be very much worth its cost if only for that. The fact that I have dozed off for a few hours after making a coffee, and woken to a still hot drink is fantastic. I've even deliberately made a drink around 12am for when I'd had to get up at 6. Definitely was still hot enough to drink! Though I wouldn't leave coffee longer due to its own deteriorating quality of taste over time, but that's just personal taste and nothing to do with the mug. It's not *as* hot as on making, obviously, but definitely drinkable - and be cautious with the first sip because it might surprise you with how hot it might be!I honestly couldn't be happier! I even love the burgundy colour :D(And no, I promise I don't work for them!)

Totally leakproof
Well made, easy to use and pleasant to drink from. I like the fact that it is completely leakproof once the lid is locked. Doesn’t keep drinks hot for more than about 3 hrs but I use it around the house so not a problem. Great way of using up surplus water in the kettle once boiled. I sip hot water throughout the day so this works a treat!

Flaking paint/covering of the cup
Good cup, keeps drinks hot and is secure with no spills.Only issue is the black paint/covering on the outside of the mug is flaking and pealing off even though it states good for dishwasher it doesn't seem to like that, or hot water too much.

Best travel mug you will ever find
Best on the market. This travel mug will keep your drinks hot or cold for longer from my experience when teaching/training.The mechanism to allow your drink to flow is perfect, just press the button and hold and the smaller hole on the top allows enough liquid to come out instead of others that cause spillage over your clothes. Then button is on a strong spring so closes itself, no more knocking your mug over and spilling drink everywhere. This mug fits in all cup holder and has also been used in my cup holder whilst playing golf. My reason for purchase is simple, I needed another newer looking mug, the other (identical) mug has a few war scars but has lasted longer than every mug before.

Lid stinks of plastic
I bought this a year ago. While it is holding up well, when hot liquid is put in the cup its stinks of plastic, like a car air vent with the heater on.It looks mostly metal in photos, but the entire middle section and the part you drink out of is plastic.I won't be continuing to use it and I wouldn't buy it again. Despite it being very leak proof and easy to use. It's just gross to drink out of and somehow makes my throat very sore.I've replaced it with a glass double walled cup.
