This is a great product! I have been considering a dog car seatbelt restraint for a while now. We have a 70lb labrador and the thought of him flying into the back of us at 70mph is pretty terrifying. Combine this product with a harness and you and your dog will be much safer.This particular model is a dog seatbelt clip - meaning that it just clips into the normal seat attachment point. I think these are the best solution because you are using the hardware that is already installed in your car. Those seat attachments are designed to take the stress of a fully grown human so the weight of your dog shouldn't be a problem. I saw that one of the other reviewers was unable to make these fit their vehicle - I was concerned about this, but I tried them in a few different cars that I have access to at work and it fit fine (Hyundai, BMW, Honda, Ford).I guess the one negative would be the packaging that it comes in. If you are expecting a box then you will be disappointed - the two straps came loose in a standard amazon cardboard shipping sleeve. It is only a very minor negative because the box would have ended up in the recycling within 2 minutes of opening anyway.

These work great to keep a dog in place! My dog loves to run all over the car but I worry about her safety. With these, I simply put on her harness and buckle it in like a normal seat belt. It works great! No complaints.

It works well enough but found it to be cheaply made. The strap is very thin and not at all like the quality of a seatbelt. It does the trick.

There were supposed to be two belts, but I just got one. I contacted the seller who immediately sent another package at no charge. The belts work well, keeping the dogs comfortably and easily controlled.

Since the description says small and large I was afraid the seat belts would be two different sizes. They are the same size, which will be perfect for buckling my dog in on both sides of his harness. That's the safest way to secure a dog in a car, but most pet seat belts don't come in a two pack. The nylon does slip around a little in the end loop (not sure what to call it but I hope you know what I mean), but once I find the right length I'll use some thread and sew it together so it can't move and then it will be even safer for my dog.I received this product at a discount or free in exchange for my honest review. This is an awesome item for any pet parent in more way than one. Not only does it keep your pup safe and secure (and in the vehicle) in the event of an accident, it also keeps them out of trouble while riding about town. I have a 5.5 month old Boxer puppy named Bodhi. He loves to ride with me to pick my son up from school. The problem I always run into is that my 2.5 year old likes to snack all the time, and Bodhi wants her snacks. In the car, while I'm driving, there's not much I can do to keep them separate (until I found this product) so many times Bodhi got left at home. The package included two different sizes of seat belts. I used the larger one on Bodhi for the ride we took prior to the pictures I have shown. I want him to be able to sit up and move a little bit to be comfortable without being able to jump all over the baby in her car seat or into the front seat with me. The material the seat belts are made from is similar to a seat belt in a car, and even to the material a leash or collar is made from. It is very strong and appears to be quite durable. It has gotten twisted and stepped on quite a bit and not shown any signs of wear and tear or damage. It is very securely attached to both metal pieces, the buckle and the hook to attach to his collar. The metal hook that attaches to his collar slides open and closed very smoothly and easily. The buckle end secured with one click and was safely latched into my back seat belt.
