I recently saw a friend's setup when their band was playing and they had color-coded all of their cables at both ends so they could tell which microphone or instrument they were dealing with at the mixer. BRILLIANT! I immediately searched Amazon and found this tape. I used some single colors and then some two-color mixes to "label" all of the cables for my band and it's really helpful when you're trying to see which channel you should be adjusting. I'm sure there are other equally great uses, but that's how I put it to work and I'm VERY happy with the results.Incidentally, there is a LOT of tape here when you're only using a few inches at a time, so I've loaned the tape to other friends for the same usage and they are equally pleased.

Just what I'd expect from 3M! These tapes are extremely pliant and wrap around things such as handles on cups very snugly. I keep a kosher home and that means that I have to separate meat and dairy dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils. I color code many of them so that it's easy to remember things that look alike. I use the red for meat utensils, blue for dairy, and green for neutral (parve) articles. The tape, which I've used previously, stay wrapped for a long time. They make things much easier, especially for my 3 identical stainless steel cups that are used for dairy, meat, and neutral drinks. I wrap the tape around the handles, making sure that I pull the tape tightly so it will lie flat and cling well. It lasts a long time, but I absolutely do NOT recommend putting anything with the tape on it into a dishwasher. Another great product from 3M!

Love this tape, use often, good assortment but awful value for money. I expected it to be very little but was still shocked at exactly what size these were. Will buy (much) larger rolls in the future and spend more but will actually get a reasonable amount.As to product, fabulous for marking floors, furniture, and other smooth surfaces (including books, binders, notebooks, devices, etc), no residue, color coding, and so much more. Works for minor "repairs" and protection too in appropriate circumstances. Just get larger rolls so you can actually have enough to do anything.

I needed to color code cutlery sets for children so I picked this up hoping it would work. I wound a bit around the ends of the sets I needed coded and then waited to see how long it would last.It’s been a month now and the tape hasn’t gone anywhere. It’s been handled and gone through the dishwasher, drowned in the sink, left soaking in soapy water. The tape is still there. It hasn’t peeled or slipped or shown any signs of moving at all...and this is on cheap WalMart style stainless steel cutlery that is being abused by kids daily, lol.I think I’ll have these rolls of tape for a long time and I’m so happy I decided to pick them up.

Needed a flexible tough tape to finish end of wrap for grip area of a Bass/Baritone marimba mallet.
