I don’t know what took so long. Maybe it was on back order but it’s definitely worth the weight. It’s working for our dog. Thank you for the product.

One of my dogs started hacking in the middle of the night. I was worried that she may have gotten something lodged and was trying to hack it up. As I watched her, she wasn't in distress but her hacking became more frequent along with some gagging reflex. I took her to the vet that day and was told she had kennel cough. Sure enough my other dog also came down with the same symptoms the next day. While they never lost their appetite or their energy. When they had a coughing fit they would have gagging reflexes and one of them started to vomit foam. I have to say even though with the antibiotics the cough was not going away. The vets said that it just has to run its course, since they were not a puppy or an older dog, where it could become life threatening so I should just monitor them closely and the vet did not prescribe anything for the cough. After doing some research online I found this product and read about the benefits of raw honey and started to give the two to them. I have to say it did help with the coughing and my dogs would be able to relax without coughing for periods of times. The only thing I would say is that the droppers were a bit of a pain. I wish they could include a syringe and an exact dosing, because I couldn't get the dropper to fill more than a 1/4 at a time so I would have to flip it over then proceed to fill it again. My other concern with the droppers was that they were made of glass. if it broke while giving it to them by accidentally hitting their teeth it could be dangerous. Lastly, I would like to stress that while this did help with the coughing, please do not think it is a substitute for getting your dog checked out by your vet. Kennel cough can be life threatening even for younger dogs like mine.

My dog did not like the flavor of Throat Gold. I had to give it with force. I read somewhere in a review that treats were given after a cough supplement was administered to their dog. I thought that will do the trick for my dog. No need to train my dog with treats to take Alpha Pet's Kennel Cough. My dog took it with no hesitation. In fact, I had the small bottle open on the floor. I accidently knocked it over, the liquid spilled all over the wood like floor. My dog was mopping it up by tongue before I could wipe it up with paper towels or a mop. My dog taking the liberty to clean up the spill says alot. I will purchase more. Plus, this supplement quiet the coughing immediately, unlike the other brand.

First time I bought this product in 2021 for my dog with kennel cough it worked great! Recently they contracted a cold or kennel cough & I bought this immediately but unfortunately the product didnt work this time & ended up taking him to the vet anyways. Bought the product again & i’ve noticed that the ink does in fact dissolve in the medicine when you use it as mentioned in a previous comment. I also noticed little fragments floating that looked like either tiny pieces of plastic or glass!

Our dog Jake was coughing and wheezing continuously for almost 28 hours, and he couldn't keep any food or water down, leading to clear saliva and water regurgitation. He was restless all night, making it difficult for us to sleep while we looked after him. To avoid him throwing up all over the house, we had to put him in a small enclosure, which wasn't a pleasant experience.Fortunately, we received this product early on Sunday morning and immediately gave him a hefty 1/2 shot using the miniature oral syringe. Surprisingly, within 10 minutes, his wheezing and vomiting stopped. We fed him boiled chicken and canned pumpkin, and he's been doing much better since then, finally getting the rest he needed.I highly recommend this product if your pup is experiencing similar symptoms; it provided quick relief and exceeded our expectations. We had trouble finding anything like it in local pet stores such as Petco or other places. I also ordered some Manuka Honey from New Zealand, which hasn't arrived yet. If Jake continues to improve, I might return it. But for now, this product has been a lifesaver.

When I first got this item, I added it to his food and he ate his food with no problem. I drew up a dose the next day and gave it to him with a new oral syringe, and later that day his cough was significantly improved. However, on day 3 when I drew up a dose, there was a large glob of blue/gray growth filling the dropper and a second area of growth at the top of the dropper. The label covers most of the bottle, so it was difficult to see if it was just in the dropper or if it was in the whole bottle. Another dropper-full contained cloudy liquid.My dog has been without any negative symptoms after the first two days of treatment, but I had to toss the rest. It kinda worked, but I question the safety used to prepare this medication. I couldn’t recommend it with a clear conscience for that reason.

We adopted Marley and she was sick, this medicine really worked.

My dog has fluid in the lungs thought this would stop to cough. Had to get prescription meds to help the little guy out. Nothing against the product my situation was a bit different.
