Why did you pick this product vs others?: Awesome chair and ottoman. Needed something with a wood frame that didn't cost a fortune. This turned out perfect. Love the quality too. I might even get another.

Very well packaged. Not too hard to assemble, did by myself (67 yo woman) but extra hands would have been helpful. Comes with dreaded Allen wrench. No problem with lining up screws and they are all the same size so you don't have to keep track of them depending on where they get used (talking to you Ikea). Wood tone is OK, nothing fancy. Don't think anyone would say that the cushion you sit on is exactly lush, it is kind of firm actually but OK. I had a moment where I thought I was never going to get the cushion into the cover but I was able to overcome it eventually. This is an un-fussy chair, sturdy and fabric looks like it will hold up well to pets. Took off one star because I don't think this is the kind of chair one sits in for hours to read and relax.

I love the style, however even though it looks good it was finished cheap. They did not sand parts o the wood properly. There were areas under the arm that was very rough and not stained in those rough areas.

We love the look of our new chair in our remodeled living room. It is comfortable, easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The seller has been very cooperative in assisting us with a small issue we had and that was resolved to our satisfaction. We would buy from this seller again. They respond quickly to inquiries and will quickly resolve any issues with their product.

Honestly wish I would’ve bought the faux leather.. this looks like a great chair. However, the chair is not comfy and is made of scratchy material. Only giving it 2 stars because it was easy to assemble.

My rating gets a 5 stars because of the customer service and quality of wood. BUT the cushions could use some more filling so I’m going to go buy some. It’s a very nice looking chair. It was also missing a bolt so this is where the customer service came in. They offered me a $10 refund as I had to go to the hardware store and buy one. They left me satisfied. What also sucked that I didn’t mention to customer service, a piece of wood didn’t align so I had to drill/shave so it lined up. I’m still happy with it, just was frustrating!

I was a little worried about the durability based on the fake leather but it seems like it will hold up with, that is, if you take care of your things. I put this in my home office as a nice quiet place to have to relax vs in being in the great room and it fit my needs perfectly. It was also very easy to put together.
