Sharp knife that slices exceptionally well
I was given an opportunity to purchase this very sharp knife at a reduced price in exchange for using it, evaluating it and writing a honest review.This is quite a small knife.. overall length is 8 inches with a 4 inch serrated cutting blade. And I must add a caution in handling the knife.. as it is very sharp and cuts thru hard items in a breeze. Very little pressure on the knife was applied to cut thru carrots, onions, radishes and potatoes. A ribeye steak was no challenge for this little knife as it cut thru the 1 3/4 inch rib eye steak with no effort or that sawing motion back and forth when you have a dull knife., I also cut paper thin slices off of a cooked refrigerated chicken breast to use for sandwiches.They say big things come in small packages and that certainly is a good description of this knife. I like it very much and it makes me realize just how dull all my other steak knives are in comparison.. they are bigger, heavier and do not cut nearly as nice.ICEL puts in a insert with the knife explaining their company (it has been in business since 1945) and how they came to be and the care they take in producing quality products. They also offer a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee and a lifetime guarantee on workmanship and or defects.A total thumbs up from me on this steak knife.I am a avid shopper here and I know the importance of reviews when I am deciding what to purchase... Super sharp, the handle is steady and high quality and so far I have had zero issues washing it or storing it.
