It holds my phone and charges, but slower than actually being plugged directly in. If my phone is being used for navigation, the wireless charger just barely keeps up. The suction cup is finicky, it has fallen off a few times, both from my dash and from my window. But I have yet to find anything that works better.

I love just putting my phone on charger and not having to plug phone into a charging cord. When phone is in holder I don’t feel like it is going fall out. I have my holder attached to my dash with suction disc and I haven’t had it lose it grip yet.

The lock/unlock feature is really cool and works well. The charger won't keep up with s21 with the screen on. It is not a 15W Qi charger. It makes my phone hot and shuts down all of the apps. If I am trying to run Google Maps with the screen in day mode, it will maintain the battery at whatever I have at that time, not fast charging. My Galaxy s21 needs 15W to fast charge. I have to place it in front of my AC vent to get it to not over heat. Good price point, but doesn't perform as well as more expensive cradles. Yes I am using the cord that came with it and have experimented with other heavy duty cords with the same result. If I need to fast charge, I unplug the cord from the cradle and go directly to the phone. Yes I am using a 3A 15W Qi transformer that will fast charge my phone when directly connected.

If your phone doesn’t have wireless charging capability, this holder will not automatically grab your phone. You can still use it to hold your phone but it will have to be “captured” using the infrared option.

Actually I really like this product. It's attractive, wireless, and is replacing another of very similar design that just wore out. I'm a heavy user of my cell phone especially when on the road. This holds the phone just where I like it. The only drawback I see to it at this point is that it's a little too small for my Galaxy S22 ultra. The phone just has the stock clear flexible plastic cover so it's not a big case on it. The arms don't quite wrap all the way around the edges and it's questionable as to whether or not it will stay at sometimes. Haven't had it fall off but it looks like it will. I would just suggest making the cradle a little larger to accommodate the larger modern phones.

Cons:Lost fast charge:Bought in October and it is now mid February. It did fast charge at first, but not sure when that stopped. If you have your navi open, it will charge 1% every couple of minutes. When I first bought this charger, it would fully charge up by 1 hr at half battery. Now, it says it will take 2 hrs. If I'm at 30%, it would take 3+ hrs.Does not hold charge:Another inconvenience is that if your phone is sitting in the charge with the clamps closed, the phone holder does not keep charge so that you can open it to release your phone after you turn off your car. I noticed forcing my phone out caused the clamps to not register if it's open or closed. So now, I have to turn my car back on to take my phone out of the holder. I would not have bought this charger had I known it does not hold charge.Pros:Arm design:The length and style of the arm is nice. The suction cup is very sturdy. It has not fallen once even thru bumpy roads in DC.Sensor location:I like the open and close sensor location on the back. I don't have to worry about accidentally opening the clamps if I need to tap my phone while driving.

I like the mount a lot but the wireless charging for not work

works as advertised just remember to release the phone before you shut the car off

The suction stand was ok, vent attachment worked great, After 2 months the charger stopped working. But worked great as a mount while I used my other charger

Difficult to attach; keeps coming off when you take phonecoff! Annoying!

The only problem that I found was it get hot.

I have 3 vehicles and they all have this charger . I've never had a problem with it.
