I found it impossible to install the light onto the base without breaking the clips on the base. I broke 2, then contacted the company. I showed them the problem, and asked how to put them together without breaking. They did replace the two broken ones with no hassle, and I appreciate that. But they offered no insights on how to assemble them.I ended up filing the clips and the tabs on the lenses down considerably on each light, and rounding the corners of the clips. Then I could get them to snap on. Very time consuming, somewhat annoying, and should not be needed if they were designed properly. I tried to take a picture of the smashed clip, but it doesn't show up well. The clip on the right in the picture is undamaged, the one on the left is mashed down and made unusable from trying to smack the light in placeI am very surprised more reviewers have not mentioned this problem. Maybe they have changed the product recently. Good thing is, the customer service is good and they gave me replacements in a timely manner. All I had to do was send a photo of the problem.Since these are clearance lights, i would like to see them designed so they show brightly from a side angle. The lenses in these direct the light straight out, and if you are off to the side more than about 30 degrees, they don't show up well.Update May 2021: One light failed after the first use on the road. And the fact that you can't see them from the side makes them useless as side marker or clearance lights.Keep looking.

No issues. Easy to wire up and brighter than the old incandescent bulbs. Used them while freshening up an old utility trailer for my father in law. He loves the LED lights all the way around and I don’t feel as much like a mooch borrowing it. Win win.

These are nice small trailer marker lights. I like the fact that they are LED (matching all the other LED lights that I installed on my new trailer).I built the trailer out of 1-1/2" square tubing, and these lights are the perfect size.The only problem is, for better or worse, it's really hard to remove the colored lenses from the black frame. You have to flex and push hard (you feel like you are going to break it). Also, it's easy to pinch the wires between the lens and frame. Thus, 4 stars instead of 5, as the design could be better.

Decent lights for the money, unless you’re mounting them to something soft or thin sheet metal, go buy #6 pan head self drilling screws. The hardware they send is just a sheet metal screw. I wish the ground was integrated into the screw mounts , but no big deal just a little more work to connect ground wire to frame. Nice and bright

light must be hard wired and, therefore, cannot be changed easily when it fails. Not like most on market, which are just plug and play.

Works great on my tandem boat trailer.
