This thing rules for my 9yr old. 10/10
This is a cheap bike. But, unless your kid is sponsored by redbull, it will be more than good enough for around the neighborhood and non-gnarly trails alike. Its not super light, but its way better than your average huffy. The disk brakes work good even in the snow (alaska). The shifter is easy for my 9yr old. It has a kickstand he cant be bothered to use (ever). And it looks cool! You just dont need more bike than this until your kid can really start to ride aggressively and starts putting waay more force on the rims/components. 10/10 for novice riders who need to stay on top of the snow and mud. It has some of that typical chinese half-@$$ery, so it’s best if you’re proficient in setting up bicycle components: our rear brakes mounting bracket was welded on at a weird angle so I bent it out a bit to provide better centering for the caliper and pads. Now its perfect. No big deal, since I got it for less than the price of a used big-name bike. At this price, and for this age range, an absolute win. Would do again.

Broke within the first week.
I purchased this bike in November 2024 as a Christmas gift for my son. We use the bike this spring and already the gear is broken. The bike is unable to be fixed and it cannot be used. The bike is completely inoperable. I am unable to contact the seller and it says that I’m unable to send a message to them. This is a terrible product. If you want to waste your money, go ahead and click by now.

Awesome bike
This is a great bike. I purchased two, one for a 6 year old, and one for an 8 year old. The size descriptions were spot on as it relates to the height of the child. This bike is just barely too big for my six year old who is about 44 inches tall. He's on his tip toes, but is experienced enough with bikes that he doesn't have any issues riding it. The 8 year old is on the top end of the size chart and this bike fits like a glove. Installation was a breeze, all you do is attach the handle bars, pedals, reflectors, and front wheel and you're riding. All the tools needed for installation came with the bike with the exception of a Phillips head screw driver for reflector installation (who doesn't have one of those anyways?). If it's so great, why 4 stars? Well, more of what other reviews have said. Getting into first or second gear is a bit tough for a kiddo. Not impossible, but I feel like those gears will be used very seldomly just because of the shifting effort required. Second issue, as others have noted as well. The front brakes were massively out of alignment on both bikes. One was clearly scraping, but still ride-able. The other, the front wheel barely moved. You'll read the instructions and think this is easy, it's one screw to adjust the piston, but you'll quickly find out the piston is already fully adjusted and that's not the issue... This fix can be intimidating given the number of allen screws on the front brakes, but it's actually a SUPER simple fix. There are two allen screws that point towards the rear of the bike on the brake assembly, loosen these (don't remove them, just a half turn should loosen them enough). Once loose the brake assembly will move left/right freely. Spin the wheel and slowly move the assembly until it moves freely. Then tighten the screws. This may take some trial/error, but you'll have no brake scraping at all. Make sure you test the front brakes as that process can make the brake calipers a bit loose. Follow the instructions to tighten down the piston on the brake a bit, or remove some slack from the brake cable. Test the brakes until you get the desired stopping power. Since these are kids bikes I left the front brakes slightly looser than the rear intentionally. Don't want them panic braking and going head over heels. I do recommend the bike, just be prepared to do some adjusting. It's not a big deal.

Great bike.
My grandson needed a bigger bike. He also lives on a ranch and is quite the nature lover. Within 20 minutes of gifting this to him, he got on this thing and didn’t get off for FOUR HOURS! He went straight up what he calls Rock Mountain on our ranch and those tires took the rocks, shrubs, holes, caliche, dirt and more. He’s a very excited little boy this Christmas.

High quality and well-built
Great bike..very well made. My 7yr old loves his new fat tire bike. High quality bike, worth the money. Your not going to fund this at Wal-Mart, as you shouldn't. My son is just big enough to handle the size now(with the seat all the way down) and will be able to continue to grow with it for several years. This bike should last with no problem at all.

If the person you're buying this for is more than 5'4" or so they're going to be too big for the bike. With that out of the way it is a really nice bike. I appreciate the disc brakes, they're so much better for stopping in ice and snow. It is heavy, but the tires are so wide you can easily get traction on snow, ice, and even that awful brown sugar mush left over after cars drive over snow.

This bike is great my 7 year old loves it she couldn’t be happier. It is easy to put together and a decent price for a fat tire bike!

My son loves it but it's getting rusty easily. The paint could be of better quality and thicker

I am very impressed with the bike. The assemble was easy. The only thing I wish it had was bolts to mount a water bottle cage, but that is very minor. My nephew put it to the test today. The bike is larger then his non fat bike 20” which is good. It will last him a couple more seasons until he out grows it.
