I liked that it has 2 batteries
My 10 year old wanted an action camera for his birthday. I looked at quite afew cameras online before deciding to try this camera. I liked that it has 2 batteries, comes with heaps of attachments, that it has a screen so you can see what you are filming but what I really liked was that you could wifi it to your device and watch & download what you are filming, as you are filming it. The quality of the image is comparable to that of our GoPro Hero but no need to hook up the camera to a device to download your videos or images. We have had the camera for just over 2 weeks, some of the activities my son has used it for include scootering, skateboarding, running, jumping on trampoline and nerf war (attached it to side of nerf gun). He has not used the water proof case yet, but has used most of the attachments which stick really well. He finds it easy to download his videos from the device using wifi (only needed help setting it up). Overall we are very happy with this camera so far. Now my 12 year old wants one for his birthday too!

pictures? i wonder.
Camera and case is nice, purchased for a vacation to use underwater. No leaks, BUT, I have called for help to get my pictures transferred to my laptop with NO response. NO CALL, EMAIL or anything. DOES NOT EVEN COME WITH A BOOK AND NO ONLINE HELP. So, ultimate answer is this camera is USELESS. If you cannot retrieve your pictures then I just lost all my memories that a $8.00 camera would have given me.

Camera and wifi app worked great on my iphone 6 until upgrade to iOS10
Camera and wifi app worked great on my iphone 6. Now however, I get the message on the camera "Wifi connection ready!" however, when I launch the app, I'm getting the error message "Wifi connection to the device cannot be found." I've reset the camera and uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times with no joy. The camera will be going back if a fix is not found. It's a shame though, the video on the camera is pretty good but not having the wifi app work on my iphone/ipad is killing the capability of this camera. Found the problem- not compatible with iOS10. Hope ActionSavvy updates their app.

but this is just another annoying bug. The battery power meter is not at ...
I bought this to use on my bike rides around the park, for which it is ideally suited. The package came with a surprising number of connectors of varying types, suitable for most applications. The recorded video is very bright and clear (720p, 60FPS), very stable with no flickering or snatches, though the plastic case does muffle the microphone, so forget relying on any sort of sound unless you want jarring clicks and plasticky scratching.Down sides are the (very) weak battery cover, which I'm just waiting for the clip to break off. The movies are recorded in MOV only, with no option to change the format, though this can be done externally with Any Video Converter, which is free. This, however, is just an added pain when you want to work with the videos as quickly as possible. When playing 720p 60 FPS recordings on GOM player or VLC, the video plays as it should for a few seconds before slowing down to 30 FPS and becoming jerky, which of course halves the playback speed and the video is unwatchable.. Other frame rates appear to work OK, but this is just another annoying bug. The battery power meter is not at all accurate, showing about 95% after an hour, but then running flat within half an hour for both the included batteries. Speaking of batteries, the included charger is very weak cheap plastic, which made a horrendous cracking noise when I inserted a battery to charge with both the lights going out. I removed the battery, reinserted it and the lights came back on, but the battery started hissing as if the polarity was reversed. I quickly pulled it out again, gave the charger a few tentative prods, reinserted the battery and everything was OK. But I still have no faith in leaving the charger unattended, and now charge the battery whilst still in the camera via a cable, which assists with the next problem. However, the main bug for me is the fact it loses its date and time settings when you change the battery. I never realised this until I had made a bunch of recording. and then had to sift through them to try and identify what date they were taken. Very, very annoying. I now charge the battery whilst still in the camera. The cons seem to way out the Pros, but in reality I'm being picky as they make little impact on the actual operation of the camera, which has no faults. Yet!Would I buy another one? Certainly, as the versatility of the unit out of the box, and the quality of the video for the price are excellent. Just remember it's not a Go Pro as a few more bucks spent on the quality of the plastics would really make the world of difference, and a CMOS battery really wouldn't hurt at all.

It is a wireless camera in the sense you cannot connect anything to it.
There is that deceptive blue light indicative of Bluetooth (none resident), and there is no wifi available, so I am dumbfounded by the claim of wireless, which would be a good thing to have since I use this while flying, and checking to see if the camera is recording is something I can only do on the ground. If you are looking for a basic camera it is OK, and were it not for the deceptive labeling it would have received 3 stars.

Fantastic Action Camera with a fully functional WiFi App to boot.
Fantastic performance out of this little camera. The most impressive part for me is the WiFi / Android phone app performance. It connects to my Android 6 phone quickly and the app (called ActionSavvy) runs smoothly without a hitch. The live view from streaming over WiFi is perfect with about a .4 second delay as usual. You can fully control the camera from your phone and use your phone as a remote. You can also look at images and download them directly to your phone via Wifi. The video is sharp, vibrant, and smooth. A very decent lens. Using it as a still camera should not be your priority with this camera though. Still images are pretty good, but not great. The menu system is simple and clean. The accessories will leave you very satisfied. The battery charger can charge both included batteries simultaneously as well, or you can simply charge the battery in the camera without removing it. I recommend it to anybody wanting a basic action camera for 30 FPS 1080p video. I would buy it again.

Received this and the clear case had a crack in the hinge. I contacted the seller and they requested a photo. I complied and the shipped me a new case. Seller is great. Camera is also pretty nice. I'm still learning it. Will update later. Seller was very nice.
