Q: I'm deciding between the wrap around, the wide band or the thin band for my pointer finger. Has anyone tried all three and have input to help me?

Hi!If you need a ring sizer, just email me your address through Amazon and I will mail one out to you. For the different splints, those swan neck splints allow normal flexion of your joint but prevent hyperextension backwards and give some lateral support. They do a similar function to that wrap around splint ( I really need to come up with better names, I confuse myself half the time :) The difference on the wide band is I usually like to go wider if its a larger size, it disperses pressure better or if you are using it on your thumb. Otherwise I will hammer the tops of a normal swan neck flatter than the picture, so it sits lower and has more contact with your finger. Q: I play the flute and have a very hard time keeping my pinky curved. Can you make something that will help me maintain the curve in my pinky?

Hi! Yes I have made these for musicians before, one flutist included. It worked for her, it was really awesome. Your custom splint is made with Sterling Silver using the ring size of your joint. These work great for swan neck deformity, hypermobility issues and really help align your joint while still being able to bend your finger. I can also solder on lateral supports to either or both sides. The underneath of the splint has been thinned so it's less bulky and easier to adjust the angle. I also anneal and soften the silver before I send the splint so they are easier for you to adjust to achieve your perfect fit. I want your one of a kind splint to be the best possible splint for you. Let me know if you need me. I am honored to help you. For proper sizing of your custom splint I will also need the smaller size of your forefinger right before the joint towards your fingernail.
