Not bad.
This rug is pretty thin, but I am happy with it because it is going outside. I took a few pictures to show you how it was delivered and the material. It was delivered wrapped in a roll which was very hard to open without risking cutting the rug. So be careful.Like I said it is pretty thin. So if you plan on not putting any furniture on top of it I recommend some kind of carpet tape to hold it down, if no the wind will take it.Also it is not "hemmed" or finished on the edges, but like I said for the price and for my front porch it is not a biggie. If you want something "finished" or very good quality, this is not it.

Disappointed
I like the price, but the description is inflammatory. There is NO rubber backing, the pile is about 1/4" high, the edges are coming apart. Really poor quality, not at all what was described in the ad. Very Disappointed. False advertising. Obviously this company would rather deceive customers than be honest about what they are getting. DO NOT BUY.

This was perfect for our tree covered backyard
This was perfect for our tree covered backyard. Grass would grow and now we can enjoy being back there and not getting muddy.

Better than alternative astroturf/fake grasses
The rug worked out great for the first couple months I have had it and I still enjoy it considerably more than any rug I have had recently. The price really makes it a good product in my opinion, I did think the grass would be longer, however looking back at the description more closely I see 10 mm and realize that's not too long, especially if it lays down at a slight angle. My cat loves it however has recently started stripping it at the edges. I use it as an indoor rug under my couch and table on the hardwood floor.Pros- looks like grass (a bit short however)- feels comfortable on bare feet- Cat enjoys thisCons- can't be vaccumed and cat hair sticks in it- peels on the edges and doesn't lay completely flat

Great product for a decent price (and holds up well)
**Update**Its been 3.5 years since I first purchased this and I'm still impressed with this. While the "grass" hasn't worn well and is pretty much all matted down, the fact that it provides a barrier to what would be a mud track is perfect. Its still green and the only damage is where one of the dogs managed to tear it a bit. Otherwise this is still doing its job.Sadly, I'm down to one dog now so since this won't be getting the traffic it used to, I'm planning on replacing this with new rugs. I'll be getting this same one and the old I'll split long ways and those pieces will be in the garden now to help keep grass down between the beds. I don't doubt ill be getting another 3-5 years of use out of them. :)**Original post**I purchased one of these the first of September '17 and a few weeks later, purchased another. We had a deck built and needed to cover about a 5 foot wide section beside it. This area is heavily trafficked by two big dogs (one about 70lbs, the other about 100lbs) who run and jump off the deck. During construction, this area got trampled by the workers and any semblance of grass was completely destroyed. To help avoid the mud track, I needed something that would cover that section without costing a fortune and that hopefully will last more than a year or so.I had to trim about a foot off which was a snap with heavy scissors. I purchased some 6" galvanized nails and washers that the head of the nails wouldn't go through. I'd planned on tacking the rugs down, three nails on each end and three across the center, but it holds so well, that I wound up doing a total of 10 for the two rugs (I overlapped them and used one nail combo to tack them both at once). They've been down now for six months and there's no sign of raveling, wear or anything. Other than being a bit dirty, they look just like they did. To clean them, I use the leaf vacuum to pick up the larger pieces, then just hose it down to wash the dirt off.I feed raw food to the dogs and one likes to have his supper on the rug. He also pees on it when he's too lazy to track out into the cold too far. Both of the dogs drag their toys over it, roughhouse on it and in general beat it up. If it's held up this well for six months, I have no doubt it'll keep going for many, many more.

What I ordered was NOT what I got. Save yourself dont buy.
What I ordered was NOT what I got. I ordered the 24 ft by 12 ft, which did not measure correctly at arrival. Length was 22' not 24, I'd like my last 2 feet of this product since I paid for it. This looks like it was the end of the roll and cut uneven at the end.The carpet did shed upon opening it. The backing/bottom is light green, not black or gray as the images portray. The weave of the grass is also not as portrayed, its much thiner and not even remotely plush as it looks on the sales images. This is the first purchase since I have had amazon where I feel like I've been duped. Spare yourself, dont purchase and make the same mistake I made.

Nothing at all like the picture on the product ad!!!!
What an absolute joke! I was expecting the two-tone, realistic looking fake grass as illustrated, but instead I got this flat piece of cheap matting (for $44, I might add!). Two-tone my foot!I had to use it - at least it serves to cover over the muddy patches in my back lawn, but as I'd expected it to look at least grass-like, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement!DO NOT BUY THIS!!! IT IS NOT AS ADVERTISED!!!

Easy to cut with a utility knife to the right ...
Edit: One year later, this is basically completely destroyed by the sun and outdoor elements. It’s was on the south side of the house which gets lots of sun and it’s all crumbly and cracked. Weeds started growing through it. Junk!Worked well to cover a patch of dirt in my side yard. Now all the dust is contained and it looks a little bit nicer. Easy to cut with a utility knife to the right dimensions and easy to stake down using stakes I also bought on Amazon.
