Saying that I love this product doesn't do it justice. In fact, this product has really changed my life by improving my skin, and along with it, drastically improving my confidence. I am 20 years old and have struggled with terrible cystic acne since I was 14. Not only did my skin look bad but many times it was actually physically painful--I was desperate for a solution. I was willing to try anything to fix my breakouts: ProActive, Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, and many more. I even visited with a dermatologist multiple times and was prescribed oral antibiotics and harsh topical creams, gels, and foams. All of this led my sensitive skin aggravated, inflamed, and worse off. It sucked. I kept getting my hopes up and my skin was actually getting worse. In a final attempt before giving up on trying to fix my skin, I came across a Youtube video swearing that Clearogen had made a huge impact on their skin. I clicked the link, filled up my cart, and patiently waited (they actually shipped surprisingly fast btw) for my new products.The first thing I noticed about the product line was that it didn't irritate my skin. I was also super excited that the ingredient list consisted of many natural ingredients and not just harsh chemicals. After about 2 weeks of use, I could already see an improvement. A couple months later and my skin was the clearest it's ever been! However, because my skin was looking so much better, I decided to book a fun facial as a birthday gift to myself early that summer. This was the biggest mistake of my life. To this day, I don't know what exactly caused the facial to go so wrong, but I spent the entirety of my summer watching an entirely new and powerful type of acne take over my entire face. It itched, burned, ached, and nothing was making it go away. In what seemed like a potentially dangerous situation, I called my dermatologist and booked and emergency appointment to be seen the following day. Again, they prescribed an even strong antibiotic and wanted me to use it and a new topical for 30 days. Although I didn't want to, I did take the antibiotic and was only left with stomach/digestive troubles and anxiety. But I wanted so badly to go back to Clearogen. My dermatologist didn't recommend it and strongly urged me to use the topical. But this time, I went with my gut. And I'm so glad I did. Clearogen AGAIN came to the rescue. My skin may be uneven and scarred, but I am BEYOND happy to see no new bumps.I know this has been a long review, but if anyone out there is desperate like I was, please consider giving this wash a try! I think you might be surprised at the great results, and if for some reason not, they have a wonderful customer service team that would be happy to help you out!Here are some pictures of my skin at my worst compared to my skin just a month and a half using Clearogen's wash and lotion. I know that they are intense, but I’m learning to not be embarrassed but rather be so grateful for the place my skin is and how far it has come:

As someone with light facial acne, this product is comparable to many other pump-foam cleansers on the market. However, I believe that the 2% salicylic acid makes this product stand out as it genuinely provides a deep cleaning even when doing a quick wash before bed. Some may fear that the acid content is drying or damaging to their face but this has not been a problem for me! I have had no dryness or sensitivity when pairing this product with my face moisturizer. I will definitely be purchasing the Clearogen foaming cleanser again, however, that might be awhile from now as it is a very efficient cleanser that only requires a half-pump each use.

I do not have sensitive skin what so ever but this product irritated my skin tremendously. It caused dry patches, red bumps and cracking around my face.

Overall a good cleanser. The clearogen system has worked the best for me because it keeps my Whitehead issue mostly under control. I have combination skin and this cleanser doesn't leave me too dry.

Worth the $. Onlyvwash that works but doesn't dry out skin.
