This is higher quality than I expected at this price point.. The paint was baked on, not sprayed. The hardware, while not grade 8 was actually solid. One odd thing, the mount holes in the upper bar were drilled at 17 7/8 not 16? If there all like this you will have to use a header board. I was planning on using one anyways, so no big deal. Would definitely buy again...

I was concerned when I ordered this rail that it might not be heavy enough or sturdy enough. It is both heavy, sturdy and built well for its purpose. We used it to put sliding screen doors on our screened in porch and it worked perfect. Our contractor was hesitant when I told him my idea however he was impressed at how easy it was to install!

Be aware!!!The track has pre drilled holes that are not on 16” centers like all our framing in the USA. The rest of the hardware was ok but didn’t have time to send back the kit for a refund. The track is metric metal which is very expensive in the USA. You could use standard metal for the track but it will either be too skinny(sloppy with the rollers) or too fat and still not roll right, or use the proper metric steel.Be aware of the odd hole placement. Better yet find a kit that doesn’t have holes predrilled.
