Knoll Furniture: 1938-1960 (Schiffer Design Books)

If one is learning or into mid century modern furniture, this is a great reference book to educate oneself, to separate the copies from the authentic, etc. love the pictures and descriptions. It’s part of my permanent collection for furniture reference.

This is a wonderful resource, and a beautiful book. It is a lot of fun to find your furniture in the book and dream of what else you want to get.

The photos look like reproductions from old catalogs or advertisements. As such, many of the mare not of the best quality. While looking at old ads etc is interesting in itself, there are no "new" photos.

Very nice , a detailed history of this icon of design. Happy of my purchase.
