Swing-N-Slide NE 4895 Outdoor Rhythm Band Swing Set Music Play Kit (Pack of 3), Multi-Colored

We got our kids a large playground for christmas and have been adding new stuff to it since which is why we bought the playground drums; the quality of the instruments is impressive. They are made from durable materials, which is crucial for any outdoor play equipment. We have had them for several months now, and they still look as good as new, even with daily use by our enthusiastic little musicians. Our kids have been thoroughly enjoying the tambourine, the bongos, and the rainmaker. It's a great way to introduce them to the world of music and rhythm, and it's heartwarming to see them excitedly experimenting and creating their tunes. We have 5 boys so as you can imagine everything in our yard is well loved, these have been holding up like champs.

This are attached to our daycare music wall. We do take them down and put away for winter. However, we've had these for 3 years. Very durable to with stand all the hard drumming from 2yr-5yr olds.

These are really cool! We bought them a year ago for our son on his 3rd Birthday. I wasn't sure how they would hold up to our seasonally wet northwest weather. I'm pleased to report that they've held up great!Our boys (7-years and nearly 4-years) have found these to be a welcome addition to their outside play structure. We mounted them in a corner as shown in the example, but ended up putting the biggest blue drum in the middle. The boys have had a great time "making music" and the sound has not been offensive to us as parents - they find plenty of ways to make LOTS of noise so truly this is rather pleasant if that can be said about noise making toys! ;)You may wish to know that these were shipped in a plain brown box. This made the gift rather unexciting to open because the box did not give any indication (visually) as to what was inside. I don't think our preschooler really understood what this was all about, as when he looked inside the box at all the random pieces he just looked rather perplexed. The excitement came once we attached the 3 'noise maker' items to our play structure on the deck railing above the slide.All-in-all, this was a great addition to our backyard play structure. It has added another fun element of play! The price was fair as many of the 'add-ons' tend to be quite pricey and it has held up well so far.

We added this rhythm band to our circa 1998 Swing-n-Slide play sets, to add some new features for ourGrandkids. Super easy to install, comes with all the hardware you need. As always, you provide the boards to mount these items, it requires two 2"X4" x 8-1/4"long. The rain wheel requires a 5/16" drill bit to install the carriage bolt through the wood, then you need a 1/2" socket and ratchet to tighten the nut. Comes with color coordinated cover that you pop in place to cover the rain wheel nut. The two drums are mounted to the two 2"x4" boards I mentioned above. You simply attach the two 2"x4" to the play structure using the screws provided in the hardware set. Then the drums are attached by two phillips head screws and washers to the 2"x4" boards. Takes about 10 minutes to install. One feature that would have been a nice addition to this set is a pair of drum sticks (I bought a plastic pair on Amazon for $5.99).

Easy to install, works just right and keeps the attention of all the age groups that come over and visit us. We made a huge playset with an older kids area and a younger kids area. All of them navigate to these toys. The mounting is self explanatory and can be done by anyone with a drill. The only issue is one of the drums (blue) has a hole in the bottom, So I recommend putting a piece of screen in there to keep wasps or other insects out. The drum needs this hole to make the proper sound and I have found out through a friend of mine that the particular style of drum is made exactly like this plastic version. They've been outside for months now and there's no fading or diminished finishes on them. Screws are holding up well and we would buy again. You can also add these to your deck or porch if you are looking for simple entertainment without the hassle of putting together a huge playset.

I bought this because Amazon had it for such a great price and I was looking for fun things to add onto our homemade tree house. The kids like it all right but it's not their favorite thing in the playhouse. The red drum set was easiest to install but we had to add a vertical piece of wood to install the tall blue drum where we wanted it. I have included a picture of the instructions so you can make sure these will fit where you want them to. Other than installation, the pieces seem good quality and like they will last. I think for the price this was a good buy and a fun item for the kids to bang around on and get some of their energy out when playing outside. It's not too loud either so it shouldn't bother anyone.

My daughter likes to drum - so this is outside - most parents will appreciate the OUTSIDE part of it! It's very durable and comes with extra pieces of wood should you need them to fix the drums to your swingset - we didn't need all of them and if your swingset is stained wood and is different to the red cedar looking pieces that comes with this, then you might need some small pieces of scrap wood to attach the drums - it just depends on your swingset.My only concern is that the drums are open from the bottom which COULD be attractive to insects (spiders) or to bees - so I would suggest checking inside them from time to time - insects would probably find it hard to build on the slick plastic surface inside, but it's worth keeping in mind.These are very colorful too, so your kids will love them!

Very dangerous products screws given to screw it up are not long enough so these items come off very easily which make dangerous for younger children.
