Peugeot 3008 (2013) dashboard message confirmation of handbrake on/off was not appearing on screen which was concerning. Had to make sure it was engaged and car wouldn't roll away. Looking at the handbrake it appeared it might be only the switch sticking and not operating smoothly. Original was matt finish decided brighter polished one was smarter for the car interior. Easy fit (YouTube) now works well. Message shows correctly on display and the symbol on handle illuminates. Good quality item so installation was straightforward (even for an old person) and it is a reasonable price. Great, very pleased as it saved us a garage bill.

Bought as a replacement for my wife's 2012 DS4, I got the matte as I thought it would look better as it matches some of the trim. Blends well, super easy to replace after watching a quick guide. Took 5 mins, probably less if I subtract the time it took to fish out the broken pieces of the old one! Works fine. Time will tell if it lasts as long (or better) than the overpriced genuine part.

Part replaced the original it fitted and surprisingly worked yet to see how long it will last but it does the job

Had a warning that the handbrake switch was faulty. Bought this, took less than 10 mins to fit (plenty of YouTube vids) and worked fine. Owned the car (automatic) since I bought 2nd hand January 23. One problem I always had that even though it’s an automatic, on most small slopes when at traffic lights or junctions etc, the car would creep backwards so I always had to manually turn on the brake. Since replacing this, that problems completely gone away. My cars a Peugeot 3008 Mk1 1.6 HDi Very happy
