I have 2 hair dryers, one was a $30 one and the other is this one. The $30 is louder than my air conditioner and this one is quieter than my AC. I bought it since I live in an apartment with thin walls so I don't want to disturb my neighbors. If I turn it on and walk into a different room I can hardly hear it all. It also dries my hair great

This makes so much less noise. Save your ears. Very much worth the price.

Valera 1600W Swiss Silent Jet Dryer- This hair dryer has 3 heat settings and a cool shot button. It has two air speeds and comes with 2 ultra slim nozzles and a diffuser. The dryer is really lightweight and the handle is ergonomically designed, making it easy to hold. It dries my hair super fast! My only issue with this hair dryer is the price. While it's very nice, I can't see where it's $169.00 nice. The nozzles aren't even magnetic. Other than that it's a good hair dryer.

Item was laying loose in a sealed box partially in a plastic bag with accessories thrown in as if this came from a Lost Freight Store. An item this expensive should have been packed in styrofoam. I feel like I got a returned item!

Too heavy. Too loud. Not much different than much cheaper models. Returning.

Dries my hair way faster than my old hairdryer, and helps a lot with frizz. My hair feels smooth and like I just got it done at the salon! Would definitely recommend.

I stick with America or any other country.But if it's made in China I'm not buying.

Are hair dryers all the same? I certainly thought so, and went through life with a relatively basic hair dryer. Enter the Valera Swiss Silent Jet Hair Dryer and whoa, this changed my mind. Having a hair dryer that is quiet and doesn't sound like an airplane's engine and ready for takeoff is such a blissful experience compared to the run of the mill $25-35 hair dryer of my past. Do you have to pay a lot more? Sure. But if you're someone that blow dries your hair daily and spends a good 15-30 mins doing so, this hair dryer will not only help you with the efficiency, but the quietness of the hairdryer will make you wish you had made the switch much sooner. I also don't think you need to go over the top with something even more fancy. This is the perfect sweet spot. Recommended!
