Wanted to love this, but you get what you pay for
UPDATE: My son was away for 7 weeks without his watch. Within a week of being back home with it, he once again had a broken watch. Instead of the piece on the side opposite the charger snapping off, the USB/charging side got stuck in the band and snapped off. This will be his 3rd watch in under a year so next time, I'll be ordering something different.UPDATE: I have since purchased another for my daughter who also loves it. I ran into an issue with the first one I purchased and reached out to the seller via Amazon. I got a very quick response and the seller replaced the device for me immediately. Definitely recommend.Bought this for my son a few days ago and the only time he's taken it off is to shower. Its really easy to set up and use. The watch size and display are the perfect size for him. He loves tracking his progress throughout the day, crushing his step count goals and charting his weekly progress on the app. Perfect watch for active kids! One thing to know before you buy is that the app only works on phones so it isn't compatible with his ipad.

Works good for what it is.
Edit: I did get it to end up charging again not sure what we were doing wrong, but it is a good watch for the price. It is sensitive for the step counter, but having all the alarms is nice. Good watch for kids!It worked great for 2 months And now it will no longer charge. If it continued to work I'd say it was a good watch for the kids, but it stopped working so fast. It wasn't the best at tracking steps, it was very sensitive and definitely wasn't correct but it was good otherwise and having all the alarms was great, but unfortunately it sucked cause it won't charge anymore.

Basic dysfunction
I bought this for my 7-yo for an upcoming roadtrip we're doing through various canyons. At first, loved the simplicity in the design and device navigation. But that went away pretty quickly once I started working on the setup. After "binding" the device to the child account (you create a child account for your kid within the app, which I imagine is to make it easy to switch between different devices if you have more than one child), it immediately lost connection. I went into my phone (iphone) settings to "forget device" in Bluetooth, but that blue info icon wasn't even there for this particular device. Only way to forget it is to turn Bluetooth off entirely and then turn it back on. I tried "binding" one more time thinking the first maybe was a fluke. Nope. Immediately lost connection again. Device was also stuck at a time, which I tried fixing through the settings within the app, but nothing ever updated or could be fixed because the device would lose connection so damn fast. I'm returning the device. For the price, it should be very simple to set up and use.

Great product/ bad color!
A now nine-year-old boy has had watch in blue for 3 to 4 years, and it has held up really well until a plastic piece finally broke. I would say this is pretty excellent for a rough boy! Two more were ordered for his sisters for Christmas. The purple band is doing great, however, the pink band will not come clean. It has been worn for less than a month (since Christmas). I have tried to clean it with a few different products that should have done the job, yet it remains dirty. Unfortunately, my account shows that I am outside of the return window. This is unfortunate because the child has only owned it for less than a month. Although I am complaining about the pink color, I highly recommend this product!!

Will try to report back after a week of use!
Just received this last night; it’s for my 9 year old boy. Our main goals are him keeping active, of course, but just as importantly, encouraging attention (reducing distractibility) in the classroom. I activated the sedentary alerts as well as a few scheduled alarms throughout the school day to encourage his attention. We talked about how every time his band vibrates, he needs to look around the classroom and take notice of what everyone is doing, what his teacher is saying, or what he should be doing in that moment. He has a pretty severe non-hyperactive ADHD and he’s hoping (just as much as his teacher and I) that this physical reminder will be a huge help for him. Being constantly called out in the classroom is humiliating for him, particularly when he has very little control of where the daydreams take his brain. He’s incredibly smart but this is having an effect on how long he can focus on things that don’t interest him (and even interesting things don’t always hold his attention for long). Crossing our fingers! Wish I’d tried this sooner! He loves the look and feel of the fitness band, how much faster he can access the pedometer than he can on his Gizmo watch, and he’s encouraged to “beat” me by outdoing my number of steps. Being a happy 9 year old boy with a huge imagination, I’m sure this won’t be much of a challenge!I will note that it took constantly touching the watch face repeatedly to get it to connect to the app through Bluetooth the first time. It would automatically turn off after a few seconds (to save battery, I’m sure) but it was a little frustrating until I figured that part out.Crossing our fingers! Wish I’d tried this sooner!
