I have used A LOT of this paper. I have a Canon printer and I have always found that using Canon's papers in Canon printers gave me the best results. My monitor is calibrated and when I print an image what you see on the monitor is very close to what appears in the printed image. This is great paper and it is optimized for use in a Canon printer. This particular texture is great for printing portraits. The finish is smooth and the matting is subtle. I like it very much

I absolutely LOVE this paper. I have been used it two year's in a row now and will continue to do so. Each year, I purchase CD of my kids school pictures so that I can make my own additional prints to give out to family and friends. I also have professional family photos taken each year and I make prints of those. This paper provides a beautiful matte finish with a slight luster that really makes your photos pop and leaves no visible fingerprints like a Glossy paper would. Honestly, my photos come out at least just as good as the ones from the studio that does my kids' school pictures which are printed on a Kodak Endura professional paper and Fuji Professional papers. My printer is a Canon PIXMA MP640. There is a right/wrong side, but you can tell the difference by the texture.

This paper gives me the most robust prints I've ever had. I have a Canon PIXMA Pro-100 wireless printer, it uses dye instead of regular ink, and it makes decent prints on most paper. But it came with five sheets of this stuff, so I used those sheets to create contact sheets and test prints to compare against my other paper types.This stuff blew them away, by a wide margin. I was embarrassed, I literally threw away the old paper and ordered more of this immediately. The difference is staggering, the blacks are rich and dark, the whites shimmer like magic, and the colors pop like fireworks. If you're making prints for yourself and your family, make it special. If you're making prints for customers, just show them the difference and it'll guarantee they come back.

50 sheets Canon Pro Luster Photo Paper 8.5 X 11 - I love the surface of this paper. I use the Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer, and this is a good all around everyday use paper. There is an ICC setting in the Canon Print Pro software for this paper making print setup easy. I do like a glossy surface for some prints, but the near-matte finish of this Luster paper looks the best to me. This paper is great for color or black and white prints. This is the only matte type paper I have ever got to work on an ink jet printer to my satisfaction. I always would get the gloss becasue the picture just looked superior to me compared to the matte. i decided to try these after only using the gloss for the last the years and I am glad I did. Professional quality photos can be done easily with this paper!This is the first matte paper I have tried in ages so possibly this is not as matte a finish as some of the other brand papers, I am not sure, I have no current other brands to compare. But in comparison to my past experiences this matte finish is fantastic. I have ordered some other current matte paper to see if its just the technology in general that is better or if it is just this paper.

I had been looking for a satin finish paper when I found this and decided to try it. The quality and the color is so nice when copying older photos for heritage albums. Even copying documents looks so nice and elegant. I will definitely be buying this product again. This was money well spent. I wish I had found this product sooner.
