I'm using this on a BC125AT at race tracks, mostly listening to 450-470 MHz stuff. Excellent antenna, I'll buy another in a heartbeat if I lose it. Far better than the antennas sold by race radio outlets. It seems to be a very nice balance between gain and size, at a good price to value ratio. At my favorite local short track, I sit right in front of race control and spotter row. This antenna works very well pulling in driver transmissions without getting overloaded by race control's base station.

Awesome little rubber duck. Reception and signal reports are better than with my Nagoya version of the same antenna.To set expectations, it’ll never outperform a whip. But for a nice, portable antenna that won’t put excessive stress on your radio while in your pocket, you can’t go wrong.

Little worried that would lower sensitivity/reception of signals (always on the move w/varying xmit strengths). Was pleased to note better reception as well as smaller footprint of overall unit. Good buy for use!

It cuts my feed in half it goes silent when I put it on so I'm putting my (expertpower) antenna way Better ,this stubby one one sucks and I paid way to much for it,this sucks..
