Made in the USA, 5231JA2002A Replacement Water Filter by Puritas (PUR-10)

Product is not the same as original. It only has a 300gal life cycle not 500. There was also a lot of trash that came out of this filter. A lot more than usual in the initial cleaning. I guess it would be OK, but I choose not to use it. I replaced it with the original filter. More money but at least now I am satisfied with what I have.

Like some other reviews have said, the top where it plugs into the fridge is slightly different. It seals, but feels a little loose. No leaks so far. Also, had more debris come out than OE filter, but not too much more. Taste is great. Overall, I'm happy with it and will buy again. I actually paid for this product, no freebie here.

Easy to put in. It works just as well as the expensive ones. I highly recommend this product. I ordered two. I will be ordering from this company again. Very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this because it was made in the USA. It works fine and makes my not so great tasting water drinkable.

Great price! Quality product! I searched and compared and there really is no need to spend a ton of money on these. Just buy this one. My water actually tasted better with this filter vs the original one that came with my fridge!
