Excellent product. But...if your walls are not solid plaster or wood, the bolts will not hold. Thank goodness, when the bolts let loose I was standing right behind my 92 year old dad and caught him. And then I bought longer screws with toggles - uisng a toggle and screw in all 10 holes of the collars that fit flat against the wall. The manufacturer only provided 6 plastic wall anchors and 6 screws - probably sufficient if the wall would be solid plaster or wood and not dry wall.A good product I would recommend to anyone, with the advice if your walls are not solid, go buy some toggles and screws and use use all 10 holes to secure the grab bar to the wall.

I love these grab bars, we bought 3 long and 3 short ones. The only problem is that no extra mounting hardware was provided, so if you mess up one of the screws (which are not stainless steel) you will have to go to the hardware store. They should provide a couple of extra screws with each bar.

Arista makes terrific safety bars. We're getting older and need them. Now we have 6 in 3 bathrooms.
