Dominique Ansel : The Secret Recipes

It was absolutely right book what I expected.

Amazing!

This wonderful book, gives you the insight into the mind and development of his creations. The book and it’s recipes of these creations were gratefully dividend up between beginner and intermediate and advanced. It’s one of the first cook books that I’ve seen do this for the reader. It truly allows you to decide your own skill set and allows you to be adventurous. A must have for any person that has a passion to learn, an opportunity to learn from a master.

Als ich 2014 in New York war, habe ich mich in die Schlange bei der Dominique Ansel Bäckerei gestellt um einen Cronut zu bekommen. Er war unfassbar göttlich.Nun habe ich mir im Angebot endlich mal das Rezeptbuch gekauft und muss sagen: Klasse!Das Buch ist hochwertig hergestellt, recht großformatig und schon fast zu "unpraktisch" für ein Backbuch in der Küche, aber dafür umso wertiger um auf der Couch darin zu stöbern.Viele Rezepte sind anspruchsvoll, aber man wird mit feinster französischer Backkunst belohnt.

I went to this bakery when I visited New York and it was incredible. I never did have time to get a Cronut but thought that I would buy this book to try and make it. When I read the prep for the cronut, I realized that this was probably going to be out of my reach. Beautiful book though and an inspiring chef. This will probably live on the food porn shelf in our house along w/ the book on El Bulli...
