I wanted a fragrance that was sexy but not overbearing. This delivers 100%. You need one spray for a strong initial fragrance that fades but has a nice, more subtle, staying smell. I've gotten a lot of compliments when wearing this fragrance. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a mature but more fun special occasion or everyday fragrance.

This scent has an addictive waxy powdery iris vibe that I find irresistible but might not feel uber masculine to sone. But I think the leather punches it up at the end so it’s a little more masculine than unisex in the dry down in my opinion.I fell in love the moment I smelled this fragrance and it helped kick start my fragrance journey. I had imagined cologne smelling a certain way and this blew away any preconceptions. For me it’s one of those scents that when I spray it on my hand, I can’t stop smelling it. It’s just a really well composed interesting and also mass appealing fragranceThe performance is okay but not stellar on my skin. It projects for a few inches for an hour or two and then becoming a really nice skin scent for a few hours. It has a subtle sillage which leaves a faint trail. I think with this type of scent you don’t want to beast projection since I imagine that it could risk becoming cloying. For that reason I believe this works best for fall through spring season and perhaps not a great choice for really hot days. That said, I find it fairly versatile fragrance that you can pair with a nice suit or even jeans with a nice shirt or sweater. But might not go great with a tank top and shorts type outfits. It should however work as long as you’re somewhat smartly dressed.I can’t say enough good things about this fragrance. I went from having one maybe two colognes at most to starting a fragrance journey in part due to smelling this scent. As a result I now also have Valentino Uomo Intense (which is more similar to Dior Homme Intense) which shares so of its DNA but are different enough. Uomo Intense is another amazing fragrance but has more gourmand elements so it’s different enough to make it. not redundant to own both

Great scent! I am getting the full bottle. It smells really good and not like all the others out there on the market...they all smell like CK, don't they?? This one has a very distinct smell! I almost feel wealthy after putting it on. It's not very strong, well it can be if you put too much. I can smell it the whole day with just a few squirts. Not really an expert in describing fragrances, but it's not fruity. It smells very manly...in a good way.

Dior Homme is a nearly perfect fragrance. It is "in your face" when first sprayed but has the most amazing dry-down and sillage. I remember purchasing this when it was first introduced and loving it then. Bracing, powdery - it reminds me of florals on wet cement - it gets better and better by the hour. I love the dry-down and this fragrance so much I could bathe in it. Dior Homme is a much softer version of Prada Infusion D'Homme, which is also an amazing fragrance. People stop and ask what scent I am wearing - a little goes a very long way (one, two spritzes at most). For me, this has great longevity and, if you are close to me, the right amount of attention. I understand that this has been reformulated. Honestly, I think this new version is even better with a more prominent cocoa. So glad I rediscovered it. This is sure to be a staple in my wardrobe. This is a great fragrance for casual or dress, tee and jeans or a night out on the town. Highly recommend.
