These are great, and my little one loves the comfort of these. However my baby is 4 months old, and it does tend to bunch up around the neck and face when she wiggles during the night. It worries me a little that it is possible to suffocate under the bunched up material in a worst case scenario. I often have to unzip the bottom and push her back up/pull the swaddle back down during the night. She will grow into it, but if you have a small baby, be aware that it could be a suffocation hazard.

I was looking for a lighter sleeping bag for my daughter, what with the sudden heatwave and us only having 2.5 togsAs she’s almost 5 months I didn’t want to buy a new sleeping bag that was 3-6 months and only end up using it for a short time. Then I found this! Perfect midsize you can’t seem to get anywhere else - 3-9 months!Nice and lightweight and soft. Love the fact that it has arm holes rather than the shoulder poppers. Just feels more secure to me. Also great that you can close the poppers on the arm holes for swaddling if you need too.The zip goes both ways too which is great for mid night nappy changes as you don’t have to unzip the whole thing, just enough to get to nappy. Meaning you disturb them a minimal amount.It’s a bit on the pricey side but it is Tommee Tippee and I didn’t want to go for something cheap when it comes to sleeping as we know how important it is!If I had to give a negative it would be that the zipper on the front does goes quite high and I’m always worried when I zip it up it’s going to be too high.

Whilst this is a great little sleeping bag, I just didn’t find the swaddle function helpful. My little one loves to be tightly swaddled but this didn’t do the trick. He squirmed and became very restless as his arms could move around within the bag, so much so that he managed to move the bag so that the zip was around the back, which caused a lot of discomfort. I think I’ll use this when he transitions out of the swaddle to arms out only.

Works really well in a cold crib and cot that was very much disliked by my baby. With this sleeping bag he gets warm whilst hugged by mummy or daddy and coldness of the crib is no longer a problem.Important thing to note that the sizing does run small, we bought 3-9 months for our 3 week old boy (4.7kg) and it fits perfectly over his jumpsute

Light weight, great for summer. Easy clean. Good value for money. Soft on skin.
