English Paper Piecing
I do English Paper Piecing as well. This is perfect for the needs of someone like me. I have punched cardstock but my favorite item to punch out is the free cards that seem to drip from any given magazine. I can get six hexies out of a single card as a rule. Sometimes bigger cards will yield more & the cost of the hexies is great! LOL I say that after just using the "cardboard" insert in some online clothing I bought. It worked well on the first piece but couldn't get thru the second piece. If it doesn't punch with minimal pressure, do not force it. You will break the punch. Now I'm on my third order for one of these. One lady in Guild with me bought my first one because she couldn't wait for me to order one for her. The second disappeared when my daughter left after her vacation at home. Maybe I'll get to keep this one! BTW: Be sure to use a regular 1/4" inch paper punch to punch a hole in the center of each hexie so you can remove it from the fabric once it's sewn in place. (You'll need a fancy expensive quilting tool called a cuticle stick to pop them out of the fabric.) I like the Crop-A-Dial punch sold here at Amazon because I can do more than one at a time. I do about 5 or 6.. I'm going with an order for the third one of those for the same reasons listed above. Also note that Accuquilt (on Amazon) makes a die that cuts fabric into hexies with a 1/4" seam allowance. They fold around these paper hexies just fine. Much less hand cutting and EVERYTHING is completely accurate. The die will fit the Go! Baby as well as the larger machines.

Easy squeezey!
So easy to use! It doesn’t cramp your hand when you use it a lot. It cuts perfect circles, of course- it’s made by Fiskers! The size is great to work with and I have small hands.

Good but not flawless
One star deducted because this is not up to the Fiskars standard I expect. ~25% of the cuts I make do not cut all the way around and the circle or moon-wedge is left hanging chad.I have not used other circle cutters to compare it to. When the paper being cut is thicker, it is more likely to cut clean. The first cut tends to be good. Subsequent cuts from the same page are less consistent. This is acceptable when I have excess material from which to cut. When the cut is crucial, it is not 100% reliable. It is annoying when I line up a perfect cut and it does not slice all the way clean around. It is the best I have, but I expected elite performance from Fiskars.

Good for folks with hand weakness
I have a disability that makes it hard to use hole punches and stamps. But I love paper crafting and want to use the decorative hole punches and stamps. The ergonomics on this “scissors-like” hole punch really works for me. It’s easy to use, requires little “muscle” to squeeze, and I get perfect little shapes every time. I will be buying more of these in different shapes.

Does the job! Doesn't hurt my hand!
This thing cuts like a dream! Punches those circles out with minimal effort, so it doesn't agitate my hand or wrist. I was even able to get through 3 pages of 28 lb paper, though it's harder to line things up that way.The thing that makes this punch so much better than others, in my opinion, is that you can SEE what you're punching. There's a HOLE instead of trying to line things up and guessing, you can SEE where it's going to cut. It's perfect if you're making pins!

Perfect for English Paper Piecing
I'm starting a hexie quilt that I'm not sure I'll finish. In this political season, I receive at least a half dozen ads printed on a light card stock. Perfect weight for the EPP templates. I could cut the templates by hand but this makes it so much easier. Every couple of days, I grab this punch & the accumulated junk mail & punch out hexies. Easy on my hand which has some arthritis.

Arrived messed up, had to file parts down to make work
The cutty-part was ever so slightly misaligned which prevented this from closing and cutting the paper. I was too stubborn to return it and ended up filing down the bit that was misaligned. The metal isn't that hard so this was just a matter of rigging up a way to do this. After fixing, the edges were dull in that spot so I cut through some tinfoil to sharpen up. It cuts now but still rubs slightly which makes for a difficult press/squeeze. Can't use it for too long.If it actually worked, this would be perfect for english paper piecing a hexagon quilt, it's a great size for that. As it is, considering that other people have complained about similar issues, I can't recommend purchasing as I shouldn't need to invest so much time to fix and I should have to gamble on whether or not I'll get a functioning product.
