Makes easy work of 4x4s
I found myself with a decent sized project cutting a lot of 4x4s (3.5x3.5 nominal) and I didn’t want to fuss with my smaller blade circular saw. This saw make easy work of the 4x4s cutting them like a hot butter knife. I didn’t use the stock blade yet. I bought the “big foot” 24 tooth blade based on a review here that someone tried both blades and found the big foot blade to be smoother. Very nice saw the zero line/cut line indicator is dead on with the blade and is easy to read. No issues at all and kicked butt on the pressure treated 4x4s. This circulator saw means business!!

This saw was a game-changer for my project involving cutting numerous 4x4s quickly and efficiently. It tackled the 3.5x3.5 nominal lumber effortlessly, making the task feel like slicing through butter. Opting for the "big foot" 24-tooth blade, as recommended by another user, proved to be a wise choice as it delivered smooth cuts consistently. The zero line/cut line indicator was spot-on, enhancing accuracy and ease of use. I appreciated the saw's ability to handle pressure-treated 4x4s with ease, showcasing its serious cutting power. Overall, no complaints whatsoever – this circular saw is a reliable tool that gets the job done effectively.

Disclaimer: This is a one time use review (followed by update)
I've only used it once, but it cut (rip cut) through my 6x8 oak logs in multiple passes without bogging down. I've never used a worm drive saw so I initially placed the blade on backwards because my other circular saws spin counter clockwise (chop downward). Caught it after seeing the huge directional arrow I shouldn't have missed in the first place. This one chops upward and it throws a lot- I mean a lot- of shavings and dust. If you're using this at home, you'll be sweeping forever. Unfortunately there's not a built in dust port and I'm not sure if one would be effective. I was amazed at how effective it was with the included 40T saw, but I think its a Diablo blade which are pretty decent. Ended up buying a Big foot tools 24T 10 1/4 inch for my ripping purposes. Hopefully, its even more effective.Update: It certainly is more effective with the big foot ripping blade. This will make my white oak pergola build so much more easier.
