Code 172 has been looking for the cause for a long time, the result is replacing the original oxygen sensors, and due to an error in the installed engine temperature sensor, NEVER TAKE CHINESE ones!!! only original ones.. more expensive but 100% more reliable, the code is gone, the engine runs flawlessly, everything is fine, delivery is five days to Europe!! THANKS TO THE SELLER AND RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!!👍😁

OEM Part Fits Smoothly on my 2000 Celica GT
Looks like the old part, and fits like the old part in my 2000 Celica GT. Awesome price for a genuine Toyota part, but it did not come with its own crush washer....I had to reuse the old washer. Tip for DIY, you will need a very deep 3/4" socket with extender to replace this part after removing the battery. Be very careful not to damage the electrical plug when disconnecting the old sensor as plastic gets brittle with time. With the right tool, replacing the sensor was easy compared to the clean up after needed due to coolant fluid gushing out during the replacement process. Hopefully this temp sensor will fix my rough idling issue that only happens in very cold mornings. So far so good, just waiting on my weather to get colder to truly test the outcome.

Cannot tell if this is a Toyota OEM part
I cannot tell if this is a Toyota part. So far all the dealer packaging come with the Toyota branding stamped all over the box. This one is a plain white box. Attached is an image of the OEM part that came out of the car against the new part. There are different features. We’ll see how it works. Definitely much cheaper than dealer. It did come with a new crush washer.

Yep, it's OEM
Looked absolutely identical to the original removed from an 02 4runner, except this one is shiny and new. Be aware, this does not come with the crush washer and needs to be purchased separately and replaced as well - Toyota p/n: 90430-12005. If replacing this sensor on the 5VZ-FE engine, you will have to partially remove a piece of fuel line. Very easy to do, but it involves loosening or removing 2 banjo bolts. 4 other crush washers total for those banjo bolts should also be replaced after loosening - Toyota p/n: 90430-12026.

Faulty readings
Please don’t buy. Purchased for my 97 Toyota T100 because of Bank 1 rich code. Drove vehicle after installing part and got check engine light again for the same problem. Noticed in my scanner that the sensor was giving random readings. Was about to start changing other parts when I decided to buy a original one from toyota. Immediately felt the difference in quality. The toyota one for some reason felt heavier. Drove the vehicle after installing Toyota part and its been a week with no check engine light. Part is cheap
