Inadequate braking system for small riders.
Buyer beware. I bought the 16” model for my 6-year-old, and was unfortunately highly disappointed with this product. The hand brakes are completely useless for a child operator. The size of the hand brakes would be appropriately sized for an adult, but my son could barely reach the brake with his right hand. Even after adjusting the brakes, he couldn’t produce the strength required to squeeze the handle. Furthermore, when I squeezed the handle the brake pads were insufficient to slow the bike much at all. Bottom line, I’ll either be returning this bike or taking it to a bike shop to have it properly fit with a safer braking system appropriate for a 6-year-old child. In my opinion, the manufacturer appears to be irresponsible by selling kids bikes with such a dangerous safety hazard.

Brakes are horrendous
I read a few other reviews talking about the brakes but I thought their kids just weren't used to lever brakes. My 5 year old has been riding dirt bikes since he was 3 and his pw50 has lever brakes so i though he would be fine. I adjusted them and he can grab the lever with ease but the bike just doesn't stop. He gradually comes to stop while squeezing with all his might.

No effective brake system.
Somebody else also mentioned problems with the hand brake. My four year old is experiencing the same issues. The handle is larger than what I have on my 20inch BMX. Even after adjusting, it is incapable of stopping the bike. I will need to either switch to a foot brake system with a new wheel or hub...or have a bike shop replace the hand brake. Without brakes, it's simply too dangerous for a kid to ride.Everything else seems great, including the price.

Good bike, go ahead and order better quality break pads
Agree 100% with several reviews I read before ordering. The breaks are terrible. That being said, I think it is just cheap break pads and the rest of the bike seems like really good value. Break pads are hard as a rock and don’t offer enough contact friction. If you order this bike, recommend also just getting better break pads for an additional $5 to $10. Mine also only came with one axle nut for the front tire. Easy to get another nut but very inconvenient, fortunately I assembled a few days before my son’s birthday and had time to find the part. Good vale and free wheel/ hand break bump the kid to the next level of riding, just poor quality break pads and sloppy quality control at packing center. I did not contact the company about the missing nut, so can’t comment on that part...was just easier to buy one and move on.

Excellent buy!
Super bike! Well made, quick assembly. Perfect for my very adventurous 5 year old son. He’s 42” tall and it fits him fine. Loves going fast, off-road and even over jumps!

Need replacement tired/rim
Tire went flat after first use. After refilling it and checking where air was leaking from it seems to be leaking from the rims weld. There’s no way to contact seller and I’d appreciate a replacement tire/rim.
