used for two years now through one heavy and one mild winter. It keeps the vermin out. It can have water build up inside the cover. Last year I put some grommets in at the lower areas just for drainage. That worked well.

this product was what we needed and accomplished our intent to store canoe by the lake on saw horses, keeping tree droppings, insects and critters out/off of canoe, and out of the sun. Only disappointment is that it does not repel water as stated in description, which is significant. But there are no other like products that I can locate that would repel water. Will probably look for a water repellent spray to accomplish that. Received product very quickly which was a plus.

I got this for my 14ft Necky kayak with a rudder. The thing is huge. I could probably put two kayaks in it. I looked at the stitching and did not find it as heavy as the reviews but it seems well made. It will be perfect for storage and I got the kayak, paddle, life vest and all my other gear in it with no problem. Comes with a nice bag made of the same material for storage when you are not using it. After spraying it with water it did a nice job of repelling the water, not water proof but with the kayak upside down in the rack will sure help keep the elements off the kayak.Oct 2013Had this for a year and it is still great. I use small straps, spring loaded jaw type, that I got at HD to take up the excess material and it works great. I set it opening down and after all winter had only a very very small amount of water in it. Taking up the excess really let the material run the water off.It really works great for me.

Great fitting product. But zipper broke off right away without much resistance

This is a good canoe cover for my 14.5 foot Old Town Canoe. Easy to put on and fits perfectly - not too snug at center. Shipping was super fast. will definetly keep the critters out. Last thing you want is a family of brown recluse surprising you on the lake. right?UPDATE: Sept 2013 - have had the cover for a little over a year now, and we store the canoe outside. Cover has held up against the elements, but has started to take on a moldy smell inside and the directions tell you NOT TO USE SOAP as it will void the warranty. So how exactly am I supposed to clean it? Oh,...it says use luke warm water and a sponge. Really?! Any suggestions would be helpful.

I bought this to protect my 16 foot fiberglass/kevlar canoePerfect fit, slips on and encloses nicely. I was worrriedit would be too tight, but that was not the case. Reasonableprice to proctect your investment.

Easy to use, does the job.

Very nicely made. Protects new canoe off-season and under trees.
