Graceful Gabby Finds Love in Blue Paperback – September 26, 2013

I thought this book was a little basic in content, but used too many words per page for my little one. I bought it because I buy books that feature African American characters for my daughters. I also enjoy supporting black authors. However, after reading it, my daughter who loves reading, was not enthusiac about this book.

Purchased the hard Copy and was able to get a free Kindle edition :-) I read it to my 2 year old and she loved it as well as I. The pictures were perfect and not to busy and the message behind the story was awesome! It kept her attention and at the end my two year started to reread the story in her own words. At the end I asked her what ways could she show love she stated "going to grandma's house" :-). We enjoyed this book and I am online to see if there are more books available We are both ready for more Graceful Gabby. :-)

I just read my copy of Graceful Gabby Finds Love in Blue. I absolutely loved it. It is a wonderful story, especially for today's times. Not only is it an excellent book for our little girls but there is a lesson to be learned for all of us. That lesson is this, "even though things don't always look or appear the way we want, we can look around us EVERYDAY and see the love, the glory and the grace of GOD". I am so glad that someone is thinking of our little girls and took the time to tell them about GODs love and HIS gifts of the spirit. I hope that as this story is read, either by an adult or a child, that they can find themselves, and start to apply and share the fruits of the spirit with others. I can't wait for the next book. M

I loved reading Graceful Gabby Finds love in Blue. This book has a valuable lesson in it, not only for little girls and little boys, but for adults too. Often times we have so much in life that we take things for granted. While reading this book with my niece, I was reminded just how much we are truly blessed. Little Gabby learned in the story that although her room wasn't pinky perfect, the way she wanted it, her room as full of love, the special fruit of the spirit. Graceful Gabby learned how to show love in many different ways, that in it self is a lesson well learned for our young people. Looking forward reading more about the other fruits of the spirits in future books.

I really liked Graceful Gabby, and I would highly recommend this book to all school age children.I like the fact the author centered the book around family and how she used the grandma as the wise one to teach little Gabby the Godly fruit of the spirit lessons. I liked how she used the Grandma to turned a negative thought of a little girl to a positive lesson of Love.This is the type of book I will share with my Sunday School class. I would use it to teach the children to be grateful for the small things in life.

my 4 year old granddaughter enjoys this book. I really like how the author brought in bible teachings. All of us need to learn to be grateful for what God has blessed us with and this story teaches children how to do so. I highly recommend it.

Great book! It helps to open a dialogue with your child about God and why they should learn to be open to many different things! My daughter loves this book and so do I!!

Pretty nice book. Some of the messages were not as Christian as I'd hoped.
