The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse Hardcover – September 2, 2014

Great "graphic"novel. Storyline was a bit shaky and could've been a bit more thought out on how to put it in the comic to make sure the reader can follow more clearly, however if you've read enough comics then you can follow it ok.

I wanted Bazz and the subject matter. Perfect combination. Really pleased.

I jist got this book and about half way through already,do I still need to buy book 1,2 and 3 to get all the details or does this book cover it all. I'm loving this.

I have become further fascinated with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!

For a fan of spawn, gen 13 and most 90s comix this was a bitchin read. Story was dark, character were just as you would expect for the end of the world...just take my advice. ..buy this and discover what truly unique story telling can be

Great book. The storyline and the art work was really good. I recommend it.

At the back of this book they show the gorgeous inked originals of Bisley's art before it was 'colourised' by hacks with half his talent. Had it been left untouched the art would have been 5 out of 5. What a misjudgement. As for actual story, it has more cliches than an installment of Match of the Day. Utterly unoriginal and the worst crime of all; boring. Given how long I have waited for some fresh Bisley, this feels like a huge let down.

Great book.

Been a fan of Simon Bisley since the 90's and that is why I purchased this. Just love the visceral style of his artwork. The story itself was pretty good since I have never read anything by Michael Mendheim or do not recall reading anything he has written before. Story revolves a ground a group of non-heroic characters with their own flaws and demons trying to find redemption in the face of a looming apocalypse with the return of the four horsemen to ravage the earth. Interesting aspect of this was the apocalypse was really for hell to return it to what it once was and not the apocalypse of earth and its destruction of mankind in the process.Overall a good read and the appendix section of the book showing the covers for each of the individual comics was nice but the cool part was that this was originally being developed into a video game as well. Some of the cool aspects of that being shown along with some of the other merchandising that they were trying to do with this story that just eventually fell through. Overall a great book, solid hard cover, solid bind, and high quality glossy paper to really make the story and art pop from each individual page. A really cool new take in my opinion on the apocalypse and what hell is based on Jewish faith and belief.

Good story, nicely drawn and coloured. Seems to fall short of a greater story. Ending a little too abrupt, too "deus ex machine" for me.Maybe it just feels that way because it keeps you interested the whole way, and you're sad to see it end. But I still think the ending was rushed.
