Yes. This is a permanent indoor or outdoor vinyl.

Q: Does this work with the Cricut explore air 2? And is it just like a sticker?

It should be able to work with the Cricut. I have a silhouette and it works just fine. This is 651 which is permanent vinyl. I use it to make decals.

Q: Would dry erase markers wipe off easily from this vinyl?

Yes, dry erase will erase easly. It has a shiny coat.

Q: Will this wotk for attaching to a cylinder trash can? Like a strip around it?

I have used it on metal and plastic. I have not had any problems with it. (Not sure what type of trash can your are describing.) Hopefully this helps.
