Rachel's Day in the Garden: A Kids Yoga Spring Colors Book (Kids Yoga Stories)

Rachel's Day in the Garden is an imaginary adventure story to help children engage and imitate Yoga poses. It is fictional so enjoy the ideas and help your children understand the yoga "routine" with a story they can understand. Of course this is a fun book and the cartoon images suggest the point is to relate to young learners and not teach non-fiction gardening. The poses are so great and children will have so much fun pretending along with this book.I volunteer in a daycare and the mom will love getting this book to use with the children as she is super busy and can rely on this story for some yoga time where it is all planned for her. I know they all love yoga and this will be an exciting new twist on the poses. It makes a great gift!

I love this book. I received an ebook to review, but liked it so much, I bought a hardcover copy. The colors and illustrations are really fun, and my children enjoyed reading along with the story as we incorporate activity and movement into our story time. My favorite features are the little inserts that demonstrate the pose, the cute illustrations, the bright colors, and the overall look and appeal of the book. It's recommended for toddlers, but my 6 and 9 year old enjoyed it as much as my 4 year old!It's sometimes hard for me to fit in exercise and stretching, and the benefits of yoga are so tremendous - I love that I can read to my kids AND engage in a physical activity while reading!

Such a cute book! It’s a great length. Only issue is the poses can make for awkward transitions between for someone who actually knows yoga but the kids I work with loved it!

This was a small paperback in all black and white. I sent it as a newborn gift, in the hopes it would be a beautiful book, whose mother's name is Rachel and loves gardening and yoga. I haven't used it yet to read to my niece but we should start in a few years.

Me and My son LOVED this book so much... we read it together and do the poses together. As a kids yoga teacher i think this book is both beautiful, and has a lovely sequence for kids. Besides making the kids do the poses, it helps them to appreciate nature since the story basically happens in the garden.

Perfect introduction to organized exercise as well as exposure to the garden and our environment. We used it with a pre-school group and modeled the yoga moves and read the story. They loved being part of the activity. I bought it for my 7-year old granddaughter who read her own story and did the moves from the pictures, asked Mom for a yoga mat!''

Gorgeous book and very helpful for introducing yoga to 3-5 year olds. Lovely colourful illustrations. Would make a great base for a yoga class for kids or for cross- curricular Spring activities.

I Purchased Giselle science bundle and will never do that again! I was so disappointed with the way it printed out.I felt like I was taking a big chance purchasing the book but I do not regret it. The book is beautifully illustrated beautifully print it and worth every penny. Although I don’t recommend her printable’s I definitely recommend purchasing the ready-made books

This book is adorable! Great illustrations and cute descriptive story and intro to yoga! Would have preferred a board book format for durability, but will save this until daughter can be gentle with paper pages. Thanks! Great service with Prime membership
