I've been feeding my cats this for over a year with no issues. I usually get the 11 pound bag - I'm confused about paying $28 for a 5 pound bag, when it also says "pack of 12". I honestly thought i was going to get more than one bag. Confusing selling point there.

My 8 year old ragdoll has been given this food since we adopted him six years ago. His coat improved drastically in just a few weeks and he has always tolerated this food well. And now, we just adopted another cat a few weeks ago, a tabby, who is somewhere around 1 to 2 years old. The shelter forgot to send his current food with him so we had to make the switch without being able to do so gradually. He did have runny stool for a few days but whether that was from the food or was preexisting, who knows. He did not show any signs of gastrointestinal distress and was always (and still is) eager to eat. He seemed to digest this well and his stool returned to normal in a couple days. We free fed our ragdoll so we’ve been trying to figure out this timed feeding since he seems to go crazy for just the smell of this food. Within just a few days we could see a change in his coat and he’s softer than ever.I like that I can pronounce the ingredients and it makes me feel like I am doing something good for my pets. I like that it comes in a larger bag since we go through much more with the two cats now. It is more expensive than the grocery store brands but I think it is well worth it for a happy, healthy cat!

My 2 y/o cat adores this food, and we do too! We gradually shifted her over to this food after rescuing her from the shelter where they could only afford to feed her Purina Cat Chow, and the difference is phenomenal. She was slightly underweight at the time of adoption, and a recent trip to the vet has shown her to now have a perfect build. Her coarse, thin fur became noticeably more lush and silky within DAYS of feeding her this. The difference in quality is clear. She has never thrown up on this food (only time she did was when we tried a low quality wet food) and passes very healthy looking stool once or twice a day. She loves to drink water, although we still do prefer to supplement her daily diet with a bit of Blue Buffalo wet food to boost her liquid intake. We also found out that she was a bit ill with a respiratory infection after taking her home from the shelter, and I strongly suspect that this high quality, nutritious food helped her recover more quickly into the playful, rambunctious, and affectionate cat that she is.I know there are seemingly endless options of premium cat food out there and it can be daunting for old and new cat parents alike, especially around the stream of controversies and recalls that keep occurring with so many different brands. As a loving and devoted cat mom, I can safely say that my 2 y/o is extremely active, playful, and happy on this food and it has been nothing but a wonderful experience to have her on it, and I thus highly recommend this food!By the way, the first bag I received came with two holes in it, which I discovered after seeing some of the kibble on the bottom of the Amazon box. Concerned with the potential for contamination from the punctured bag, I contacted amazon through the website. They called me to fix the issue withing MINUTES of my message, and immediately set up a replacement shipment that arrived the next day. If you have any issues with the shipping/packaging, I urge you to contact Amazon immediately, rather than stay disappointed and/or develop a grudge, as they have excellent customer service!

Cat liked it so so.

My pet was constantly having ear infections prior to switching to grain free food. This stuff has made her much more healthy & her coat is so bright & shiny. She loves it! I will keep buying from blue buffalo!

Once I wean her off her other food I started giving her this slowly and now she loves it very good. Very small bites.

My cat can only have grain free food, and this is the only brand that doesn't make her sick. She has no digestive issues after eating and I feel like she loves the taste since she begs for it (but what cat doesn't beg? Lol) I like the health benefits and ingredients of this brand. The performance outweighs the price, so I'd definitely say this is worth a shot if you'd cat keeps getting sick. The bag isn't too heavy on weight either, but you're still getting a lot for a good deal.
