Best quality earphones I've tried
[Mark as helpful if you liked it!]First, I've gotta say that the build quality is the best I've tried, they feel like a premium brand, design and usability-wise - after trying 4 pairs, these are the only ones that fit properly inside my ear canal and fill it properly so I can get the best audio quality out of them. And without having to fiddle with them for that! The sound quality is just outstanding:- The basses are powerful and well defined, being able to differentiate between different levels of bass, while not being overpowering and dominating the sound (like the Ceppekyy 60H playtime ones, which have great sound quality but the basses dominate all the time and the highs don't feel separated).- The mids are well balanced showing its presence and making a filling sound - not like those cheaper ones that only have basses and highs that sound like you are listening through a can(Like the Ceppekyy 80H playtime ones, sound way clearer, without such a dominating bass but they lack proper middles and the sound seems weird).- The highest notes are played full quality - not like when you feel like they've been compressed in a low-resolution mp3.Basses, mediums, highs and everything in between are clean and "well separated"; you can clearly hear each instrument and sound separately - as opposed to when they feel like merged and you can't really make a distinction.Adding to that, the 3D Stereo it's marvellous: you can hear where each instrument was placed when the recording was made! You can try "Lost In Japan - Shawn Mendes" and feel the clarity of the claps on your sides and the piano only on the right side at 2.23.You can play "Feeling Good - Avicii" to check the high notes' quality at 1:02 with that "high-pitch vibrating thing" that at the beginning seems like an aberration of the sound but I realised is on purpose, you can't differentiate that properly from the rest of the sound in cheaper earphones also at 3.25 all the separation in different levels of sound.I have not been paid, given these earphones for free or received any gift for this review (as Ceppekyy, which gives amazon vouchers for only good reviews and that's how they got so many good ones when the quality is not as good as these ones!)

Some good design choices
I seem to be collecting true-wireless headphones lately, but I think I'm finally settled on this style with the "arm" coming down. I've found it makes for a smaller bud which fits more comfortably in the ear. There's a lot to like about this particular model, not least of all the price. My previous, different brand ones were from an Indiegogo campaign and cost twice the amount I paid for these Boltune ones. The headphones came packaged in a sensibly sized box with decent padding, along with a charging cable and three additional sets of silicone ear pieces (small, medium and large).I was pleased to see that they use a USB-C cable for charging - a lot of companies are still dragging their feet and selling products that use the older micro USB connector. My set of headphones came fully charged, with the charging case also having around 75% charge so I was able to start using them straight away.Pairing was easy enough, but I found that they have the same limitation of my previous set they cannot easily switch between paired devices (eg to use them first with your phone, then later use them with a tablet). I have an even older pair of Bluetooth headphones that are happy to switch their connection between a few different devices without having to re-pair. It's a shame that manufacturers seem to be dropping this feature lately.Sound quality is decent, not too tinny or bass-y, although they could probably go a bit louder if I was being picky.Controlling the audio playback is done via a button on each ear bud. I'm happy that Boltune have decided to use a real physical button, rather than a capacitive touch button like some other brands. I find that physical buttons provide much better feedback for this type of thing, especially when you need to press the button multiple times for each function. I can't say I'm a fan of having to press the button a different number of times to play/change volume etc, but the alternative would be to have more buttons which would probably be just as fiddly.Overall, I think these are great value for money and I'd have no problem recommending them to someone looking for a pair of true wireless buds for everyday use.SummaryProsUSB-C chargingExtra tipsReal buttonsDecent soundGreat priceConsCould be louderMultiple button press control schemeNot easy to pair with more than one device
