Tight fit at first, but does a good job. Good quality materials.

When it arrived it was tight on my phone. After a few days the leather started to form to the phone. But the opening where you would put your phone in was a pain in the butt. The phone would fold the leather as it went in making it hard to put the phone in.I would return it but our rotti decided it would make a good chew toy.

The quality of leather and stitching was excellent. BUT, the holster was MUCH too tight for the phone dimensions described. After stretching, the phone fit well, but when worn on belt, the slight curve causes back wall of holster to curve into the opening make replacing the phone into holster when wearing EXTREMELY difficult.

My second purchase. This one can be worn left or right side.I really like the tilt forward " Cant" angle of this one.It did help to put a rigid piece of plastic inside to keep it from pinching the phone and making it easier to draw the phone out

PROSThis phone holder is basically 2 flat pieces of thin but semi firm leather, sewn together around each side and along the bottom perimeters, and around the 2 side belt slotsIt's pattern is designed to carry your phone at a canted angle to allow user to pull phone out at a slight angle rather than straight up and out, as stated this is just basically two pieces of leather sewn together, and has NOT been pre formed or molded to fit facing a particular direction there is no true "designated" outside of the phone holder, it is then basically universal for a left or right handed carry. That's a bonus as I see it.ConUnless your a completely round bodied person....The biggest issue I feel is that this phone holder is designed to have your belt thread in one side slot and out the opposite side slot in the same manner as some firearm holsters do that are carried at the kidney positions.So if carried on your side rather than at kidney position on your front or on the back side, it will be forced to curve around at your waist/hip and make removal or insertion of phone difficult, and it possibly could damage your FLAT non conforming phone as it and the holster are being forced by the 2 point attachment to follow the curvature around your hip.I don't find carrying up front or behind me comfortable when in a sitting position, especially in a vehicle, but I stand most of the day at work.

As the title says the s9 is much too difficult to remove. The total width means that is does not really fit between two belt loops. This is just two flat pieces of leather sewn together. However, the leather is nice and the stitching seems extremely sturdy. I just don't see how any phone would fit in one.

I read the reviews of this item before I bought it. One reviewer was very critical about the difficulty in getting the phone in and out of the holster. I really like the design and hoped I could make it work. When I received the holster, I placed my phone in it and then inserted a pencil on each side of the phone to try and stretch the leather. I did this for a few days and then started using the holster and continued to use the pencils at night for about 2 weeks. The leather did stretch and made the form of the phone. Instead of 2 pieces of leather laying together it became more like a pouch, but still with enough resistance that my phone will not fall out. My prior phone holsters had a flap or a strap, which I wanted to get away from. I am happy with the results.

This does not fit in between belt loops unless u have a size 50 waist or bigger. The opening where the phone slides in and out is soft with no way to slide phone in and out without struggle. Not a good product at all. Waste my money.
