Ehh I’m not as happy as I had hoped to be. I am guessing the wood is getting water logged. It hasn’t sunk, but I suspect it likely will once the plant actually begins to grow. It currently sits in my aquarium. It is half way under. The seed barely has any surface above the water. I didn’t see any recommendations in the box like use a big seed, or put toothpicks to lift, or don’t put in aquarium. The wood also could be a bit smoother. I did not go over it with sand paper because I was excited to get started, but I should. Perhaps the product should be deeper or have more surface area to float slightly better?

Didn't like the plastic ones so bought this organic style on December 26, 2020. Looks bohemian and nice but water leaks into the bowl and eventually the whole thing submerges underwater constantly.

Wish it were bigger so more avocado pits can start germinating at once instead of just one in the middle. It takes weeks for you to find out if the pit will start sprouting roots. Does tend to sink at times

The Avocado Tree Growing Pit Floater works great! I have 3 avocado pits in it now that are starting to grow roots. It is easy to use and comes with instructions to help you grow an avocado tree.

Followed directions. Avocado seeds do not sprout.

3rd avocado pit attempt and still no results. The pit rots before a hydroponic effect can take place. Too bad, nice idea.

The wood gets waterlogged and sinks. It’s a way better fit to put on the top of a vase.

The only concern I had when purchasing this product was how balanced it would be while floating. Dead level. Much more pleasant looking than three toothpicks and a glass of water. Just waiting to see if this particular avocado pit will sprout.
