Hutzler Classic Food Savers, set of 4

I love love love these! Not only are they so cute and bring me so much joy (that I ordered almost all the other veggie options like the bell peppers and mushroom) but they actually do keep your veggies fresh longer! Plus, you don't have to use up your Tupperware and you save the environment by not using plastic wrap or plastic bags!The only negative, is what other reviewers had notes about the garlic one, it can be really hard to open at times, but that is the only negative!

I love these! Don't have to waste a Ziploc when storing leftover veggies. These do work and keep whatever's inside fresh. Great purchase!

The onion is a great way to keep your cut onions in the fridge without causing odors. They don’t rot. The tomato works well too, but may need to be drained from time to time. I have used these for years, but had to replace because I left mine in Florida, not because they stopped working.I would prefer four different containers in the set because one doesn’t need two onions. They also have a half grapefruit that works well. It would do well in this set instead of the second onion. I have trouble opening and closing the garlic container and don’t know yet if it will keep my garlic fresh. This brand is found in stores, but not everywhere. Beware the undersize onion containers now appearing in stores ( different brand).

As a single man I don’t used a whole tomato or onions when cooking. These containers allowed me to keep the unused ones fresh in the fridge.

A little hard to close. I enjoy the shapes. Keep onion smells in. The twist to close action is a little tuff to fit together. The plastic is super thin.

I bought these to replace a cheap set I had for several years. These are high quality plastic, large, and fun to use in your refrigerator for storing the extra pieces of onion, tomato, etc. They keep them sealed so they don't dry out or flavor the surrounding foods. I liked these so much I have also purchased the lemon, lime, and avocado.I noticed that some people had difficulty opening the containers. I rubbed a very thin film of petroleum jelly around the seal edges and they open and close easily. I recommend them.
