DieselSite Boost Relief Valve for 94-07 Ford Powerstroke 7.3L & 6.0L

Bought this because I'm using a Hypertech programmer in my 2002 ford 7.3 diesel. My engine light would come on from over boost (P1249 code). This was supposed to stop this issue and fool the MAP sensor. 1st trip towing my boat and passing on a hill, the good ol light came back on. It was like I didn't even install this. I only purchased this one because I was able to get it shipped to California. I'll be returning it and getting another style from somewhere else, and having it shipped to a family member out of state..

Awesome product, and it’s mechanical not some crappy wire that does more damage than good. Love that it includes ports for boost gauges. Most importantly it does what it says, NO more SES light or de-fueling issues.

It actually does what it said! I can turn my ts6 position all the way to 140 and mash the gas! No more check engine light.

They couldn't even finish drilling the hole... truck ran horrible.. come on....thing looks cool but wtf. Thats alot of money for what it is. You could at least make it work.

Highly recommended for chipped engines. Without this, you will get all kinds of issues from engine light to performance. I would highly suggest this product on your chipped diesel when adding more power to your vehicle from the turbo.

Very solid! The packaging was well protected. They,” Dieselsite” to great care in the packaging and sent the well guided directions if you didn’t know how to install and a small pamphlet of other products and a website along with a Dieselsite decal! A instant plus for me! Lol

Update, the company is working with me to replace the valve. Updated the rating accordingly to 3 stars.If it works out I'll update again.----------The relief valve is opening way too early at 13 psi. Yes I oiled it and excercised the poppet per the instructions, and I tested my gauges too.
