Main reason for purchase is to use in beverages, hot toddy or non-alcoholic tea, like anise or fennel. Opening the bag, there is a light, fresh aroma. I've purchased other Spice Village spices...always a worthy buy!

Chai and Pomander balls
I cued half of the bag in my 5 pounds of chai mix, and the other half to make pomade balls for the closets in my house. The clove scent is heavenly in both purposes. My husband thought I had baked something and came searching for it. He was a bit upset when he placed the smell in the closet and discovered an orange covered in cloves and just hanging there making his mouth water. lol... I ended up having to make him an orange/spice cake for dessert that night.You get a great amount of cloves for the money. Much more cost effective buying it this way, than buying all the little jars of cloves at the grocery store. I am very happy with my purchase.
